Kiss sore sit bones goodbye and welcome comfort from the bottom up with the Selle Italia SLR Flow L Saddle. Built for casual riders and racers alike, the SLR Flow L is crafted with titanium rails that shed grams and offer stiff support, and a wider profile for those who's sit bones sit on the slightly wider side. Like it's smaller sibling, it comes in at 275-millimeters in length to give you room to move fore and aft, and features just enough padding to take the sting out of chattery roads for enhanced comfort.

Starting with the 'Flow' designation, you'll notice that this saddle has a moderately sized cutout in order to relieve pressure on the perineal artery and adjacent soft tissue. As a result, that pressure is directed to your sit bones (ischial tuberosity), which are far more adept at supporting your body weight. Additionally, they're able to do so without causing numbness during long rides. This principle is further supported by the wide cut out, as it removes pressure from the pudendal nerve which can cause pain and numbness when continuous pressure is applied.

The SLR Flow L finds a balance in the padding department, with more than you'll find on the Tekno and Carbonio, but without going overboard to the realm of flexible cushion. We find its just enough to take the sting out of rougher roads, without going overboard. The dense padding is wrapped with non-abrasive Fibra-Tek for a clean finish, and it all sits on top of a carbon-reinfoced nylon shell that reinforces you with stiff support when you're hammering up steep climbs.

Seat was nicely made, nice weight, comfortable, but: My riding style is using the front of the saddle during hard efforts. The nose of saddle is too long. the length hits me in areas you do not want to be hit. Maybe 15-20 mm to long. my current saddle is a Pro Stealth, shorter but nose of saddle a little too wide, and shell does not flex as the Selle Italia does for comfort. For me I wanted saddle to fit. Price is unbelievably good, I have used selle Italia saddles since first flite saddle of the 90"s.

Bought this saddle in April last year, one side of the seat itself just cracked so it's getting thrown in the trash. I'm 150lbs so not putting it under much duress, would have expected at least 2-3 years life.
