For a light saddle the weight wasn't that impressive given the saddle consists of a full carbon rail and shell with a thin pad glued on top. The saddle I replaced was an old Trek Racing San Marco Aspide which comes in only 45 g heavier with Ti rails and can be found for about 5% of what this saddle normally costs. I've ridden a lot of saddles and generally can adapt to most but I thought I would try to really find that holy grail of saddles with this one. The cutout worked well enough given the relatively high output that I put out on my test ride. However, by the end of the ride (which was in Zwift) the saddle bolt had loosened and the saddle had slid forward on the rails causing what appeared to be cosmetic damage to the outer surface of the carbon rails. Given the very limited instructions I wasn't too confident when I installed it, but I checked and the post I was using works with 7x9 mm rails. Normally, I try to crank down a bit more on my saddle bolt but given the carbon rails it seemed like it was tight enough. The problem I suspect is that under high output this saddle flexes and given the complete lack of torque specs for specific seatpost clamps you're either going to overcrank the bolt down and damage the rails or you're going to get movement over the course of a longer or higher intensity/bumpier ride due to the extreme flexing of the shell design. The weight limit is 90 kg or 198.4 lb which I fall under and I was riding inside which generally isn't a very harsh environment for testing a saddle so maybe the rails just got scuffed a bit. It would be great if there was more in the instructions on the torque tolerances for various major manufacturers. I've overcranked on carbon before so I have a good feel for the 5-7 nm torque specs for stems and bars. All in all, the saddle worked fine though other saddles with similar dimensions and cutouts probably work similarly. Notably, their L3 is considered "wide" but for a "wide" size the actual saddle width is quite narrow. I have narrow sitbones (<100mm) and the way this saddle is designed you don't sit so much on the back as you do on the widest part of the cutout area where the padding is thickest. If you were to sit on the back of this saddle there would be very minimal padding and it was notably uncomfortable initially when I got on but once I started to hit a higher tempo there was only one time when there was a bit of numbness. All in all a cool saddle but doesn't really seem worth the price even heavily discounted.

My aging body needed the extended 'Super Flo' cut-out section: it prevents most of my peritoneal numbness on 50 mi. rides. I also notice that I have less post ride numbness in my right Gluteal area while riding on the independent flex saddle and no post-ride pain in my right leg. The saddle is comfortable as well as therapeutic.
