I feel as though they were made JUST FOR ME. So comfortable. On a hike, I even forget I'm wearing pants because they are so comfy and breathable. I haven't worn them in cold temps but moderate and hot. I love them!

Traversed the Talkeetnas in these--wearing them for 3 months straight. Trekked across the northern Himalayas in these. I love them because they are stretchy and flexible. You can roll them up on hot days. These are also my rock climbing pants; the zip pocket fits below the harness leg loops. They are so comfortable I forget I'm wearing them. The are stretchy enough to allow for high stepping.

These are great pants for year round travel! I wore these mountaineering in the Rockies this June and we had half winter, half summer weather. They were great to repel water when I fell in the snow and dried quickly. I was also able to wear these rock climbing, nice and stretchy and no rips or tears at all! Very lightweight and great for hiking and backpacking. Love!

I am one of those people who has a lot of trouble finding a pair of pants that will fit properly. I tried both the size 2 (right for the legs, but too tight causing awkward lines at the hips) and the size 4 (looked ok at the hips, but were super baggy on the legs). The lack of pockets was also a minus. I also ended up with both the original light tan pants and the new 'truffle' color, which I did not like as much. Material felt great though, very lightweight and nice lines. Wanted it to work, but just couldn't get it to happen.

The pants fit great but I was a little worried about how thin the material was. Great for hot days I just thought they would be a little more durable.

The fabric feels nice & stretchy. I like the zip security pocket on the side and the clean lines! They fit just a little bit large all over. I was surprised because I have Columbia's Saturday Trail pants in the same exact size & those fit perfectly. I ordered a couple pairs of pants & though I liked these a lot, decided to return these & keep some others.

These are incredibly comfortable, durable, and versatile. They're extremely lightweight, so they're easy to stuff into a bag. I've found most hiking pants to feel overly heavy or like I'm hiking in cardboard, but these are like a second skin - stretchy and soft but durable. I've worn them on the plane, on the trail, and even to bed!

Fit is true to size. This straight leg pants are light weight and resist water. These pants are the perfect travel pants. I wear them backpacking but they also dress-up nicely.

The fit is spot on, the material is light-weight, and they've held up wonderfully over the past two years of adventures! I'm an avid hiker, and I've been through a number of different hiking pants. They all did the job alright, but that was it. I thankfully found these pants just before my trek up Kilimanjaro. They served me well during my 6 days on the mountain, and even the week after on a safari. I love that these pants have a slightly stretchy material and drawstring, and NOT an elastic band that cuts into you for hours on end. I particularly love that the drawstring at the waist is thin and on the inside of the pant. All of this adds up to a great comfortable fit. While comfort is my number one issue, the flattering cut on these pants is a big added plus - it makes them more versatile and I feel great in them. I haven't had any issues with the pocket, but other than the occasional chapstick it hasn't seen much use. I, instead, typically use the easy access side pockets or waistband pockets on my packs. When looking for a functional trekking pant with a great fit, this pair is my top pick hands down! They're so great I'm about to purchase a second pair for my upcoming trip to Ecuador, and Peru.

Love these pants; wear them all the time. They are stretchy so you can hike in them and be comfortable all day. I plan on buying more pairs in the future.

these are very comfortable pants for a multitude of activities (i used biking, hiking with some scrambles, beach wading etc.). they are comfy and stretchy, but not, um, unflatteringly "clingy" like some hiking pants. good waistband design/feel and nice details in closed loop drawstring at ankle cuffs. however, the leg pocket is a huge flaw. not only will it not practically hold anything (even just chapstick or an ID), the glued/sealed seam attaching the zipper to the rest of pant will IMMEDIATELY fall apart. wore the pants one time to walk, used pocket twice, washed, and the pocket was loose. i still wear them, but very disappointing flaw in an otherwise very good pair of pants. short length is perfect; i am 5'3". fit feels true to size, cut is relaxed.

These seemed to run just slightly large, or maybe it's just because they're so stretchy. The fabric is very lightweight, excellent for summer and early fall but will need something underneath any other season. I wore them out into an unexpected squall and while the weather-repellant feature was completely overwhelmed, I can attest to the quick drying. The waist drawcord is extremely long, but I'm very glad it's there. No pockets that I consider useful at all, but under a backpack there is no extra bulk, which is very nice. Love these pants, will order more if I ever see them on S&C again. :)

These pants look good enough to wear in the city but I can also hike in them, all seasons. Roll them up for wading -- they dry fast. They're a little stretchy and can handle scrambling. Fit smooth over hips, decent waistband. I'm tall, and they're not too short.

I picked these up last year for summer hiking. They are incredibly comfortable, dry fast, and don't seem to show dirt much. The only really irritating thing is the one pocket. It's on the outside of the thigh instead of higher up where pockets usually are which annoys me since it's not as functional. The fabric is so lightweight that anything beyond an id and some cash starts to weigh down the pocket and no matter how tight you try to tie the elastic drawcord it's going to pull on that side. Maybe I just use my pockets a lot so this is really noticeable to me. I wore these when hiking in Glacier NP and wished I had more accessible pockets since I had to take off my backpack often to store things in there. Overall it's not enough to make me not wear these, just something I will make sure to consider when I purchase more pants. I do like that they are long. I'm 5'11 and the XL is long enough.

These pants rock. I've used them canyoneering, rock climbing, river wading, impromptu yoga-ing and more. They dry quickly and have a very flattering fit.
