The reinforcements also allow for deeper and more numerous vents that help shed grams and allow for increased intake of cool air and exhaust of hot air.

The inner padding is hypoallergic and features anti-bacterial and anti-odor properties and can easily be removed and washed as needed. And with all of those big vents, you'll be glad that the optional padding with a bug stop net is available to keep those bees out of your bonnet.
