If you've ever discovered a large bundle of loose tippet strung out behind you after you've walked through some dense brush, you'll definitely appreciate the newly designed Scientific Angler's Freshwater Nylon Tippet. The conveniently placed cutter allows more time on the water and less time fiddling with your clippers. Especially, in the cold winter months every second counts for your freezing fingers.

The built in cutter on this tippet spool is great. Even if you have nippers, getting it off the spool is easier with the built in cutters since you don't have to lean over if your tippet spool is on a hip pack. Great convenient feature on a product that is a staple component for every fly fisherman!

Not sure why, but for some reason I'm partial Scientific Anglers. There are a lot of companies out there that make great leader and tippet, and to be honest, they're all very similar. However, I really like SA and would suggest them to anyone looking for a good option. The spools of tippet roll nicely and have good built in cutters. The tippet itself is strong and dependable. Go getcha some!
