This has been my go to Trout leader since I started fishing. This product is tough and reliable, without making a dent in your wallet. The 3-pack has definitely saved me time and money.

When you just can't be bothered to blood knot another tippet extension and the rest of the leader is too kinked, knicked up, or otherwise needs to be replaced, reach for one of these and you are set. I always have a 3 pack in my fishing pack at the start of every season and a few rolls of 5X, 6X and 7X to get me through the spring, summer and fall.

I think so. I've been using these leaders almost exclusively since they were introduced 10+ years ago. Consistent, predictable, strong, durable, and a great value. Excellent taper - delicacy if needed, but you can also shoot the sum' B wherever it needs to go. Love the three-pack. Keep on it, Rio.

Rio has been making these Knotless leaders for over a decade now, and they are still the industry standard. When you have a solid fish on the line the last thing that you want to be worried about is your leader, and with Rio that is just one less thing you have to think about. the 7.5' 4x is my trout leader of choice and is perfect for building out a 9' -12' set up. Never hit the river without at least a few spares in your pack

Rio makes incredible products and this is no exception. I like the 3x, 7.5 footers as it is easy to add additional tippet to the end if needed, depending on your situation. i.e. if you need a 6x dry fly set-up, you can add a couple feet of 6x on the. Instead of having a 9ft 6x leader on hand...

You can obviously pay for flouro leaders that cost more, however, it's a very rare occurrence that you spook fish because your leader was visible (unless it's just too short). I fish with these leaders exclusively and have always found them to be incredibly durable and they roll over well. If you're in stillwater then just add a bit of flouro tippet to the end of these leaders for both invisibility and to lengthen the life of your leader!

I have a leader wallet full of RIO. I pair these knotted leaders with RIO Powerflex for dries flies. I keep a leader straightener handy so I can quickly get the kinks ironed out quickly THREE PACK ALL THE WAY! I always opt for the three pack - it's more economical than a single leader

This is the only leader I use. I put it on my 3wt, 4wt, and 5wt. It's very durable.

Pairing these leaders with rio power flex tippet has always been my go to. Durable, strong, and sensitive. I mostly fish high alpine lakes and go with a 9 ft 3x for the 5/6 weight Ross setup I use.
