Best money you can spend on upgrading your bike. Have put on a 1200 miles on these in the last six months with no issues. They handled cross winds well with excellent braking. Hubs are super smooth with good engagement. Running Michelin 28c and they feel great. Highly recommend.

This is my 2nd set of Mercury wheels and I must say I truly enjoy these wheels. Awesome riding quality and very durable. I weigh 220 pounds and have hit some serious bumps in the road and the wheels stayed nice and straight. Build quality is off the charts. Good stiffness when climbing. Braking is excellent with no squeaking. I whole heartily would recommend S5 wheels you will not be disappointed.

Upgraded my P2 bike to these wheels. I've mounted 25c Schwalbe one road tires on these wheels and they ride perfect. Extremely light and soft on the road. Just an excellent wheelset.

My first full carbon wheelset and I can feel the difference. Stats show that I am faster and I can feel the bike accelerating more quickly and holding speed longer. Hills are about the same but flats and downhills are awesome. Plus the dark grey stealth looks amazing on my older Pinarello Prince.

BE VERY CAREFUL. I had 2 sets of wheels fail within a week. I posted reviews reflecting this and they have been flagged and deleted. Other folks have posted negative reviews for the same problem and those reviews have also been deleted. This is shady stuff and these wheels have a legitimate mechanical issue. I would absolutely not buy these wheels again. CC replaced/refunded the failed wheels. Customer service here has been very good.

I have never owned a set of carbon wheels so did not know what to expect other than what I have researched. I'm impressed with the improved ride quality and responsiveness. I have fitted Michelin Pro 28c tubeless tires (really easy to fit). Upgrade has completely changed the feel of my bike for the better. They look great too. Two thumbs up.

Just bought a "new to me" DeRosa neo primato steel frame. I built it up with a red groupset and needed some fancy wheels to go with it. I bought my 2nd set of S5's (the other set is disc and on my Masi evoluzione). First, it looks really cool! and second, it gives the bike a certain kick! I feel like I am driving an old 911 Porsche with a souped up engine!

These are the best over all performing wheels I have ridden throughout the years. They beat Zipp 404, and a whole bunch of others and they are priced very good.

I picked these up as my first carbon wheelset. I loved them right off the bat and lasted a good 9 months of riding. I went to change my chain and took the wheel off. Sure enough, the cassette just fell off. Apparently there is a support rod that holds the internal hub together that sheered off. I've never seen a hub fail like this. I've emailed support from Mercury and hopefully I'll get a replacement. Fingers crossed. Update review: Customer service has been a great help and very responsive. Sent replacement hub parts quickly.

I put a set of these S5 wheels on a Litespeed I was building and I love them. They are light weight and strong. They accelerate well and are good on the climbs. I don't think you can find a better wheels for the price. I would recommend and have recommended these to my riding buddies.

I absolutely love these wheels. Mercury nails it with the S5! Amazing ride quality! Great craftsmanship. Cuts through wind great and super light weight. I paired these with the Michelin Power 28c tires and I still can't get over how smooth the ride is. A must have for sure if you're in the market for a carbon wheel set at a great price.

Waited a little over a year to write a review. I can't believe how good these S5 wheels are! They're just straight up fast. Hubs are extremely smooth. Great aero properties, they do really well in cross winds and they are just stiff as hell. Running Conti 5000 28c tires on them and they feel good. Best purchase that I’ve made in a long time.

Just upgraded my OE stock wheels on my Colnago C59 and what a difference in the ride. They preform great on climbs and descents plus handle crosswinds good. They come with Mercury brake pads and they work well without any squeal. Tubeless setup was easy with no issues. Very impressed with these wheels.

I added these to my BMC about 8 months ago, to upgrade over the standard Mavic aluminum wheels. This is my first set of carbon wheels and to be honest, I really wasn't expecting to notice a big difference. I am really impressed with how stiff, light and lively these wheels feel. It is an excellent upgrade and when you combine the budget price it a unbelievable deal. Highly recommend these wheels.

I needed a new set of wheels for my older Basso that was affordable. The S5’s make for a great all-around wheel set that can be used for both training and racing. Smooth rolling hubs and with the gray decals they look good.

I needed a set of carbon wheels for my older Cervelo P2 that wasn’t going to break the bank. What a great set of wheels. This wheelset roll incredibly well. Super responsive with good freehub engagement. Handles crosswinds great with good braking without the noise. True all around performance.

A high quality full carbon wheelset under 1600g + sub $800 wheelset that's actually very good. I’ve had mine for over 2 years and everything is great with them. Highly recommend.

I bought these last year for my older Colnago C60 and couldn’t be more pleased with over 3k on them so far. Easy tubeless setup. Great all around wheelset.
