The Mercury S5 Disc Wheels strike a fine balance between a lightweight climbing wheel and an aerodynamic race wheel, featuring a slightly shallower 50mm rim depth that's just as happy pedaling up a mountain pass as it is sprinting along flat tarmac and gently sloping roads.

I'm tellin you the wheels are an absolute must have, forget about spending thousands on other wheels. I am running 28c Gatorskins and they’re great. I have thousands of miles on them and NEVER trued them. I know thats hard to believe but BELIEVE IT. Plus they look great on my Litespeed.

Best value for your money, hands down. These wheels are light and strong. I've put almost 3000 miles on them and the Continental GP 5000 that I bought along with them to complete my light and tough setup. Highly recommend.

I just upgraded my DT wheels on my Canyon to these wheels. Nice smooth rolling hubs. Wheels are great on flats and they climb well. Very happy with this purchase.

I've been running these tubeless with 28s on my Fenix and love them. They are fast and light on the road, easily keep pace on fast group rides but still stout enough to tackle fire roads and gravel with confidence. Very happy so far.

I've had these wheels for about 6 months, still absolutely no issues whatsoever. Drag from crosswind is minimal. Super responsive, light, and fast. I can tell a HUGE difference from the Hed wheels I had previously. Great deal plus they look good.

Fantastic wheel set. Stiff, quick to speed. I prefer Vittoria Corsa tires and the graphene 2.0 were a very tight fit. If you get the disc version you will need the XT outside notched lock ring. After several rides I can think of nothing bad to say about these.

First set of carbon wheels; first set of wheels deeper than 25mm. Rode up Emigration Canyon today, 11.5 miles from my house to Little Mountain Pass, and rode 3:20 faster than two weeks ago on stock wheels/tires (same time of day; same wind conditions). 2019 Specialized Roubaix. I have these set up as tubeless with 28mm Continental GP5000TL's. At 65 PSI, the ride is so much smoother than stock 28mm Specialized tires at 85 psi. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. This takes "value" carbon wheels to a whole other level. Hundreds less than other respected brander wheels like Hunt.

My first true set of carbon tubeless wheels and they have not disappointed. My Cervelo R3 looks like a machine ready to handle whatever the road lays in its path. Adding Conti GP 5000’s to the mix makes it even better. If in the market for a decently priced wheelset - look no further! Mercury S5 is it!

I bought these wheels for my Trek Mondane. For reference, I am 6’1” 195. The rims felt really solid when sprinting and held their own. This is a solid overall wheel that does everything well from climbing to aerodynamics. I highly recommend these wheels.

I bought these about 10 months ago and have put over 1800 miles on these with no issues. Have been running 25c tires on them and they've been great. I haven't had to true them at all. Super smooth hubset.

Just upgraded my Cervelo S-Series to these wheels and I’m loving them. Increase my pr time on my daily route. Lightweight and sturdy. They handle cross winds very well. Great deal on these.

After reading the other reviews I decided to grab a set for my Moots Route 45. The subtle graphics "caught my eye" as I am a no frills type of guy. The performance is what I am most impressed with. They are handbuilt in the US, smooth bearings even after I have ridden it in some slop and have a great ride feel about them. Weighing 195 pounds I tend to flex most wheels, but the S5's seem to have the ride feel and performance balance figured out. Tubeless set up was easy with my Gravel King SK's. All in all, I am pleased with the wheels and would buy them again.

With nearly 6k miles, I am very happy with my S5’s. I’m 200 pounds, along with road miles I ride some loose gravel, and they hold up well. The wheels remain true and show no signs of problems. The hubs roll smooth. At the sale price, I might get a set for my girlfriends bike. Very impressive for a great price. Nothing beats hand built wheels.

I waited to write this review to see how the wheels perform. Having over 2k miles, I can say that I love these wheels! Excellent all around wheelset! Plus they’re hand made in UT. The hubs are awesome and roll forever. Running Michelin Pro 28c tires on them and they feel great.

I’ve been looking for a new set of carbon wheels for my Ridley that wasn't going to break the bank and I found these. For a deep depth rim, it handled wind gusts well and maintained speed with the aerodynamic profile. Paired with Conti 5000 28's, they felt great handling rough roads and cornered great, and a good all around wheel. This is a solid wheelset that does everything well from climbing to aerodynamics. Two thumbs up.

Very happy with this carbon wheelset as an upgrade to my factory wheels. These S5’s are very light and extremely durable. Full season on them with no issues. Straight as the first day I pulled them out of the box. Highly recommend.

I’m a heavier rider at 215 pounds and these have held up to some hard riding. Running Michelin 28c tires on them and the ride good. So far just over a 1000 miles on them and no issues. Great, quality all around wheelset.

I’ve had these wheels for 6 months with over 1400 miles with no problems. . They are lightweight, extremely stable, and aerodynamic.. They cut through the air nicely, and crosswinds do not have much effect. Very smooth hubs. Highly recommend.

The S5's are a perfect depth for me. I am a lighter rider, so am highly susceptible to any sort of winds and ride mostly on or near the Monterey coast where it is always windy.
