With the Men's Freakin Snow Chino Pant, Volcom took the same pant you love to skate in and added a shred-worthy construction to let you take your street style to the slopes. The burly oxford fabric, classic chino styling, and modern relaxed fit give it casual, skate-inspired style, while V-Science and Zip Tech work together to keep you dry whether you're lapping the park or slashing powder.

Two-layer V-Science fabric with taped critical seams keep moisture at bay in all but the soggiest storms and its rugged construction was designed to last you season after season. The breathable lining keeps you comfortable after multiple laps off-piste while mesh-lined zippered vents can be opened up in springtime when the park action heats up. Meanwhile, boot gaiters and the Zip Tech jacket-to-pant interface keep snow out when Mother Nature drops off the goods.

The pants fit great, but my son is only about 5'9" and the leg length was really too long for him. We chose another style.

I wear volcom pants as day to day pants, so I decided to go with the snowpants as well. They do not dissapoint! Had to go a size down from my usual medium.

Volcom made some good pants. They zip to my jacket which was needed/wanted for the powder days. 10,000mm waterproof, even in Utah means they'll hold up for all conditions, even those spring soggy days. They fit perfect and aren't too baggy. Only complaint is there are no cargo pockets, but I knew that when I bought them. I wear a 34 waist and bought XL. You can adjust the waist or wear a belt to get the perfect fit.

These pants seem very well made. Has inside adjustable waist band straps. I am a true 31" waist. These pants fit me well in small with about 3/4" extra room on the waist. The adjustable straps made them fit perfect. Inside of your thighs there is a zipper for venting which is perfect for me since I run warm. The fit is true to size. Don't believe the people that say it "runs large". I assume people state it runs large because the pants are baggy compared to slim fits or regular cuts. These board pants are a straight leg cut with extra room. I would say the length of the pants are around 32-34" but with snowboard boots, that shouldn't be a problem anyways.Great lining, some insulation. Overall the look and feel of the pants are outstanding. Side note, It was a great personal touch from Backcountry to contact me after the order. Thank you James F. For reaching out to me to answer any fitment questions regarding the order.

I bought these for my husband to wear for spring-time resort riding. They are flattering, and the cut makes them look more like normal around-the-town pants than snowpants. They are tailored, but only a bit, really a very classic cut. He loves that they stretch, so he is never restricted when tweaking out grabs to the max. These are not highly technical pants (he has another pair of goretex pants for more extreme conditions), but for everyday resort pants they are fantastic. The cuffs have both a zipper and a button, which makes them fall nicely over the boot when riding and keeps them from getting worn out when walking through the parking lot. Also, since these are Volcom, they zip together with the snow skirt of his jacket, so if we get hit with a surprise dump, its all staying on the outside. I can't praise Volcom enough for this feature. I myself also own a set of Volcom jacket/pants primarily for this reason. Being able to stealthily convert to essentially a one-piece snowsuit is amazing, and keeps you shredding dry all day long.

He told me that these were the best pair of snowpants he had ever owned. No matter the conditions you were not getting wet. They do not have thick layer of insulation but its plenty with some sort of a base layer!

I bought these in the vintage black color which is a dark grey and I love the look and feel of these pants. I bought them to pair with the Volcom Mails jacket for the zip-tech feature. These are lighter weight pants so you will want a baselayer for the colder days but I prefer my gear lighter weight anyway so this was perfect for me. I wear a size 36 in jeans/pants and I bought a size Large in these pants and they fit just fine. They are snug in the waist but comfortable so I am happy with the fit. They are a "modern" fit so they are a little lower in the waist than typically snowboard pants and they are slimmer through the thigh as well. I was looking for a modern fit that wasn't a full slim fit and these pants nailed it. I actually wore them around the house for a while after i first got them because they are comfortable. I would definitely recommend them. Just consider your fit preference when picking a size. I went a size down for the snug modern fit but I could have gotten a little baggier fit if I had gone with the XL.
