Crisp leaves crunch under your boots, ascending through scrub oak that arcs over the trail, and hues of amber, red, and canary yellow that cast a warm glow on the cool autumn air—fall may just be the most stunning time to explore the outdoors. When the summer heat has lifted its oppressive weight and icy gusts are yet to wiggle their way through to your core, pull on the North Face Gordon Lyons 1/4-Zip fleece pullover for the perfect shoulder season warmth.

Cozy polyester fleece insulates you but lets a bit of air through to keep you from overheating on your expeditions. Pair it with a down vest while you man the Dutch oven chili and babysit the cornbread over the fire or cast a line as the salmon return to their breeding grounds. Regardless of where you take it, this fleece offers classic style and warmth.

One of my favorite jackets made by The North Face, wear mine constantly during the winter and have multiple colors.

I ordered a size large, but it doesnt fit properly. Sleeves were too long and baggy, like tubes. Torso is too boxy/wide and short, so when I lift my arms I get major mid drift. Also, the cargo khaki color is nothing like what's displayed. What's up with that? I don't understand all these awesome reviews so unless you have a short but wider midsection and long/beefy arms, this is not a good fit lol

Bought this for my mom, she absolutely loves the material and fit. Not too baggy to look masculine, and the length is nice!

Super comfy. Love the 1/4 zip. The chest pocket is really nice. Keeps you warm without feeling sweaty.

Use to keep warm doing warehouse work. Perfect warmth without being bulky. Bought 2 and basically switch between them all week long. Maybe I should have gotten 3.

I own several TNF long sleeve shirts and zippies in size large and they all fit great. Large for this shirt was more like an XL. Too baggy in the midsection and sleeves. I’m 6’1 190 lbs, 42 regular.

The sweater itself doesn't have any issues in functionality however, the color of the product was misrepresented. I purchased the gingerbread brown heather option which appears to be a very pleasing brown color in the pictures provided by the website. The sweater I received is orange with black heather and a gray logo. This obviously is not a huge issue but I am less excited to give this sweater as a gift because the true color of the sweater is far less pleasing than what is pictured.

My husband needs a large for his 35 sleeve length but this was just too boxy and bulky for him. The large sleeve was just barely long enough so a medium would not work. My biggest complaint is the huge variance in color. The color pictured from North Face is a nice light tan but what we received is MUCH darker. The hang tag color name is correct. This is one is being returned.

Exactly what you expect--a thick warm fleece that is relatively breathable for the heavy weight. Fit is true to size.

I got the Gordon Lyons 1/4 Zip Fleece as a gift for a friend and they really like it so far - they said that the fit is true to size and it's a great weight that makes it versatile. The sweater fleece is a good look, certainly a bit more dressed up, which I think adds to it's versatility.

The photos look great but it doesn't quite capture what the sweater actually feels and looks like. I returned it because it was too bulky and thick and not really flexible.

This is a great fleece. Been wearing it in the jeep open-air during morning commutes. Keeps me warm below 45° at 65mph. Comfortable solid materials. I consider it to be more of an outerwear piece than a fleece. Easy choice.
