Everyone knows that it's hard to enjoy the slopes when you're sopping wet and freezing your keister off, which is why the folks over at The North Face crafted up the Freedom Insulated Boys' Pant to ensure your little ripper stays warm. This pant covers the bases of waterproof protection and lightweight insulation, keeping him toasty-warm and pleasantly dry through a wide range of winter conditions.

More specifically, the pant boasts a DryVent, two-layer laminate that sheds everything from mid-winter powder to springtime slush, in turn preventing moisture from dampening his under layers. 60g Heatseeker insulation provides lightweight warmth, without restricting movement or being overly bulky, which is especially crucial if he's transitioning his skills into the terrain park. And to make sure he doesn't outgrow these pants in a single season, the EZ Grow leg lengthens the pants with the simple snip of the bottom hem's thread, revealing two inches of additional leg room. Other key features include a reflective logo, elastic-gripper ankle gaiters to seal out snow, zippered hand-warmer pockets, and adjustable hook-and-loop waist tabs for a secure fit.

I ordered these for my son’s ski season a few months ago. They came with a big tear down the front of the leg. Panicked that my son wouldn’t have pants to ski in, I called backcountry and they sent a new pair first class right away so my son would have them for his first day of ski club. So grateful for a company that values customer service so highly. Backcountry, you’ve won a customer for life.

TNF hasn't disappointed me yet...I bought these for the son of a buddy of mine...he's a rippin' skier and needs good gear. He's worn TNF for the last few seasons and these really hold up to his best efforts to destroy his gear (as kids will do).

Bought these for my 6 year old since we planned to do a lot of skiing this year. He has definitely put them through the wringer both on the mountain and around the neighborhood with all the snow this year and so far they show no signs of wear and tear.

I love these snow pants, warm, waterproof, durable. The orange color looks great. My son is on the small size so he's between sizes. The small fits him just perfect almost on the cusp of too short, but the medium was swimming on him especially his waist, 4'5" 63lbs for reference.

I expecially bought these pants to go over my son's ski boots. They fit great and go over the ski boots with no problem. Absolutely love these pants!

Purchased these for my son. They run a tad long for the size, but not a deal breaker. He loves putting these on after school and playing in the snow for hours.

I was not sure about the color and quality for the price. Lightweight warmth and color was easy to spot on mountain in low light.
