The Columbia Boy's Ice Slope II Pant is an ideal snow pant for a young man who loves to ski and snowboard on bluebird days. This pant's Omni-Shield coating repels wetness from snowball fights and dripping chair lifts. Don't worry about getting a new pair mid-season either—the grow system lets you extend the legs to accommodate growth spurts.

My 3 boys ages 9 and 7 are outdoors all the time, sledding, skiing, snowboarding, skating. These are good quality all around snow pants, my kids are pretty slim so the adjustable waist is great, I think they run a little long but with ski boots or skates on they are perfect. These pants have a slim look, not too bulky but boys were skiing for over 6 hours in the afternoon and evening and these pants were slightly damp in a couple of places (they spend a lot of time on the ground) but no one complained about being cold. I think for the price the quality is good and the look is great, boys love them so far.

These look like great ski pants and we can't wait to try them this season. My son is 11 and average size. I ordered the Medium based on the sizing chart. They fit him but are just a tad too small. He'll wear them this season but will definitely outgrow them by next winter. But I have younger sons he can pass them down to. Order a size up. Otherwise they seem pretty warm, water resistant, and the bottoms easily went around his snow boots when we tried them on.

My son is a ten year old has an average to slim build. I will have to buy him the next size up. IT was tough trying to fit fleece pants and underwear below pants. I love the price and feel of the pats. I hope the larger pair is not too long. The product looks adequate for the job but please note that we could not test it.

Warm pants, medium is a bit large for 5 year old. I would size down to a small or xs for a 5 year old. Haven't used them yet.. not much snow.

I bought these Columbia snow pants for my eight year old who had been wearing an old hand-me-down pair that no longer repel water. He wears size 7 jeans and the size 8 fit him, allowing plenty of length to grow but not so long he's tripping over them. He is thin and the adjustable waist is really nice. He's been testing them out and breaking them in these past few days playing in tempts that have dipped down to around -10 degrees with the windchill and with a good 15-16 inches of snow on the ground. He was really excited about his green snow pants and has already logged numerous hours in them sledding, trekking through the woods and building snow forts.
