Am I the only one having the pregnant-looking issue in this? It’s a nice top, but that fanny pack bulge is insane. I wish this had a cinch somewhere at the bottom because I look like a total balloon in this. Maybe it’s because I’m curvier? You can even see the bulge in the model photos. It does run large, so being able to fit a sweater underneath is nice because the wind comes right on up since you can’t seal it in any way. It didn’t seem to help at all for me. I was hoping the convenience would be beneficial, but it’s just unflattering and impractical for me. It does look cute on my hanger, though?

This jacket is AMAZING. I love the neon color, and that it's machine washable and dryable while still being water and wind resistant. I also got a slight stain on it that I was worried wouldn't come out, but it came out in the wash without an issue. I am incredibly dumb and didn't realize that "fanorak" meant it folds into a fanny pack when I bought it, so that was a delightful surprise, too. I have a Denali jacket and TNF rain jacket and I would say that this is consistent with sizing for TNF jackets (I wear a medium in all 3), and maybe runs a tiny bit large. I have a 29.5" waist, and 40" bust (34-36D bra size) so I was unsure if I should order a medium or a large, but a medium fits really well with space for layers underneath!

First and foremost, as is true with a lot of North Face outerwear, you may want to size down a size. Originally went with a small for this gift but had to swap for the XS. That being said, this is a great spring or fall wear around town jacket. Doesn't have as great of wind protection as some of TNF's other offerings, but it does the job. The DWR coating is also solid for light rain storms. Long story short; this isn't the BEST jacket for rainy, stormy days on the trail, but it's perfect for a drizzly day in the city.

This is a great lightweight jacket but the stiff front pocket feels weird. The drop waist drawstring also is too low and I 'll probably take it out. I'm short so I think this is just to long for me. That said, the navy and off white with red logo is absolutely darling! Just because I'm out on some trail doesn't mean I want to look dumpy? All in all, its a great stuff in your backpack rain jacket!

This jacket is super cute! It fits well and I love that it still looks cute if I wanted to wear it out on the town. It does block the wind, but I have not had any experience with it in wet conditions, so expect a follow up after its first rain storm.

This is a super simple piece to add to your wardrobe that's all around rad. It's super versatile, I can pack it away for a hike if it's brisk or I can wear it out with a nice pair of sneakers. The color ways make this jacket stand out along with the fanny in the front. I originally had a size small but returned for an XS and it fits perfectly. That nice oversized look. 10/10 would recommend.

This has by far become my favorite jacket / pullover. I wear this any opportunity I get. Super fun colors and fits true to size for me. Added bonus that it also turns into a fanny pack! It make it super easy to carry around as well as stow away in a bag. My only call out is that the kangaroo pockets seem to be a little too small. Best anorak around!

Bristol blue multi arrived and the sleeves are a totally different blue than the torso as shown in the picture. The bright blue sleeves look terrible. Will return because of wrong picture for product. However, nice lightweight jacket and fit as advertised. Hopefully a different color will be more accurate.

The ultimate camping/hiking/travel/grocery shopping/festival-going anorak out there. Easily stored and clipped around your waist when you don't need it, with room for all the necessities. I always get compliments on the "Blue Wing Teal Forest Floor" print. I was told it runs a little big before my purchase. I usually go for a Medium, but the bought the Small, and it fit perfectly!

This is the perfect jacket for Spring! I have worn it hiking and as a casual jacket as well because it's so comfy. It runs pretty big and it's long. I bought the Foxglove Lavender and the color blocking is super cute. My only complaint is the Kangaroo Pocket- the straps are a bit bulky inside the pocket and they bulge out sometimes.

I purchased the vintage-white/urban-navy North Face Fanorak and I love it! I wasn't sure what size would work because I'm in-between small and medium--I went with the small and it's perfect! I'm 35 1/2", 27 1/2", 37 1/2" for reference. Based on TNF's size chart I would say it runs large so go with the smaller range. I have full range of motion with my arms in this pullover without feeling like it's binding. I love that it folds into it's own "fanny pack" so that I can pop it on when it gets windy/rainy and strap it around my waist when the weather clears. It's lightweight and perfect for hiking or just out and about town or the park! Love it! Oh and it doesn't feel "plastic" or make that crinkling sound like some rain gear does.

Light, stylish, and great waterproofing. Make no mistake this isn't a goretex item you can stand under a waterfall with. It's great in small increments of medium rain and is light enough you can pack it away small.

This jacket is amazing!! Its perfect for piece for both function and fashion. I've used while hiking and camping with friends and have even paired it with a pair of jeans and sneakers for a great casual look. My favorite part is the light weight material which makes it great for packing or tossing in your day pack.

The North Face hit it out of the park when they designed the Fanorak its the perfect jacket to keep on hand just in case! I took it to the PNW coast when the temps are just warm enough for shorts but the wind can make things a bit chilly, the Fanorak was the perfect layer and when things got too warm i just packed it away and tossed around my waist, the big pockets also provided plenty of room for all the rocks and shells my niece and nephews kept asking me to carry (even when its all packed up). It's also perfect for day hikes when you dont want to have to take a pack. I'll be buying one for my mother who was very jealous. Fits true to size.
