Very soft, comfortable and true to size. Happy customer and would definitely buy more!

These socks feel great when new with nice padding underfoot. Unfortunately they shed material with each wear and eventually I was left with just the nylon netting with no padding under heel and in other high stress areas. I’ve never even worn these running - just standard walking around in sneaker duty. Much less durable than I’ve seen with other wool blend socks. I no longer expect Backcountry to honor the lifetime warranty the way Darn Tough and others do because they consider “lifetime” to mean “until their products wear out” (learned this the hard way with Stoic luggage). Given the plethora of quality competition, I would pass on these. By comparison, my merino wool fitsoks are bulletproof with no bare spots anywhere with comparable wear (hundreds of miles running).

I've been buying these socks for years now. I use them for everything, work, run, play. Super comfy, long lasting, wool and at a good price point. Plus, now that I have a drawer full of them, I never have mismatched socks. They need to make these forever.

I am a teacher and on my feet all day indoors and outside and these are my go to socks as they are so well cushioned, breathe well, and stay dry. It also helps the merino doesn't get stinky quickly. I also use them for trail running and hiking. Highly recommend.

Great socks! I've been using these for a while now and they have held up great. Superior durability and a virtually seamless toe. Men’s-specific mesh ventilation zones provide ultimate temperature and moisture regulation where male runners need it most and two pairs at this price!

I've gotten about 2 years out of my previous pairs of Stoic Merino wool socks before the heels finally wore out. They fit great and, in my opinion, have held up quite well. Great value for comfy wool socks!

These are amazing socks for the price. They are very comfortable and soft to the feel. They have maintained shape over numerous uses. Look forward to ordering more.

Once again, Stoic delivers a great product at a great price! These socks are super comfy and breathable, and the merino means they won't stink too badly after a long weekend of wear. They're not quite no-shows though, so I pulled off a star for that slight inaccuracy in the description.

The first time I bought these socks I was in love, they became my number 1. They were absolutely perfect and after many years finally became threadbare. Since i had such success, I re-ordered these only to find out that the model changed. I can't walk more than 5 steps without the heel slipping off. These will end up going in the garbage. Absolutely useless. Save your money.

I wish I could have used these longer. I really liked these socks for a short time. I wore them about 5 times (hiking and trail running) and I've already worn a hole through the toes...I expected more. I'm glad I got them on Steep and Cheap for a good price.

These socks suck! I really wish they were better. Bought a few packs on S&C in 2015 and they all got holes within 1-2 years, I figured it was maybe because they were too tight... I had made the mistake of buying one size too small because I wanted to be able to share them with my wife. So I bought another pack in December, hoping they'd last longer. They're getting holes in them after a month!! Not cool. I also got a pack of the synthetic ones and they seem to be doing fine so far. I contacted Steep and Cheap a week ago about this and haven't heard back from them. Usually they get back quickly...

Merino is the only way to go these days. Great at moderating temps and resisting the stink

These are very comfortable and wick moisture super well! Great price for socks that do that and have Merino Wool!

Comfortable, well-fitting sock. Wicks moisture well. I have had 4 pairs of stoic socks and every one develops holes on the heels and/or toes after a season of occasional use. Compared with other brands, these definitely wear out more quickly.

Simple, useful socks. These are comfortable and hold up well. The wool keeps my feet dry and manage moisture well. I have also liked the way the merino wool keeps the smells at bay. These are not super high tech or ultra long lasting but for day to day wear I have bought multiple pairs and worn them almost daily for years.

Great socks for the price. They are soft to the touch and can be used for a nice running, casual, or trail sock. They wick fairly well and keep your feet dry.

Great sock for a great price. Can't complain about these as soft as they are. Not great for summer but when the temps drop this is a great hiking sock. I will definitely be getting more of these!

I bought these for my husband and he loves them! They fit true to size and are a great value! They are cut perfectly for running shoes, as they are tall enough to avoid chafing, but they are still really low cut. He has worn Stoic socks for years, so I got him these when I saw what a good deal they were.

So..... just buy these. You get 2 for the price of one. They fit great and are still a merino blend. I have both darn tough and smartwools lightweight sock and these are lighter weight than both. If you usually wear UL socks you may want another sock. The one feature that is lacking is the built up heel and toe seen in most other brands. However they do still have compression over the arch of the foot so they don't slip and venting on top of the foot. The one nice feature they do have that others don't is an elongated cuff under the tongue of your shoe. VERY NICEEE. I wear a size 115-12 street shoe and I picked up the M/L and they fit great. I have a total of 8 pairs of these and I'll probably pick up more.

Great socks, merino wool is actually the best thing that has ever happened. Keeps things fresh and warm at the right times. No sweaty feet and super super comfortable. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for quality yet affordable socks.
