I always try to write a thoughtful review including the pros and cons of a piece of gear, but these are just dang good. They're snug without being too snug, dry fast, don't rub, whatever. Do you need new summer socks? These are probably right for you.

I wore these under some ankle height hiking boots to replace some old "no show" socks that slid off my heels and these were perfect. They were so thin I could barely feel them, but the toe and heel cushioning was perfect. My feet did not get hot or sweaty. SmartWool did a great job on the moisture wicking and temperature regulation. The pattern on top in pretty cute too. So comfy!! They have been through a couple of washes and still feel like new!

I have had several pair of the SmartWool PhD socks that were the "no show". I decided that for boots I might want a thinner sock and one that will last but goes up a bit higher on my ankle. These fit the bill. Honestly, these last a LONG time. They don't lose their stretch/shape/functionality after many many uses. The threads don't come undone. They are ver well made socks. They keep my feet DRY when the heat turns up from my physical activity. I am excited to put these higher socks to use come fall/winter. Love the colors and designs. Highly recommend!!!
