I bought these as a gift and know the recipient was extremely happy with them. They keep them toasty warm and are very satisfied with the merino material. They are a slim fit, as most baselayers run. The Smartwool Merino 150 baselayers bottoms or tops are a solid choice

Bought these as a gift for my girlfriend. I Was looking for something for her that was a little lighter for warmer days or longer spring days in the backcountry and settled on these. She hasn't been too cold or too hot. The merino makes them wicking, fast drying and breathable while the nylon makes them stretchy and comfortable!

Was excited for these cause the company gets great reviews overall. Super Itchy!! Also, not as much stretch as I'd like in Pants. Probably would work well for a skinner person.

Smartwool's 150 baselayer bottoms are the bar all others are measured against and that's for good reason. They deliver every time - keeping you warm, comfortable and the anti-odor that wool naturally has is an added bonus!

These are the softest, comfiest pair of baselayer bottoms that I own. I was looking for something that was really light, a more form-fitting, and comfortable. These fit that bill! The wide waistband sits comfortably right above my hips and the pants are the perfect fit -- not too baggy and not too tight like athletic leggins. They are super warm and flattering. I only wish there were other colors than black. For sizing, I have pretty big hips in comparison to my waist, and the small fit perfectly! Any smaller would have been too tight on my thighs/butt and a medium would be annoyingly loose.

I have thicker legs so it was a bit tight but if you have thin legs and no butt xs is perfect! I only get this size so it actually stays on my waist! I love it and highly suggest it!
