When you're out on shimmering snowshoe hikes or perfect powder days, you need a balance of insulation and breathability, and the Kari Traa Women's Rett Pant has you covered. An ingenious combination of technical DriRelease fabric with deliciously soft merino wool provides a material that keeps you warm in frigid temperatures, yet dries incredibly quickly when you work up a sweat. Strategically placed panels add extra warmth and protection to chronically cold areas, like your knees and IT bands, and the four-way stretch elastic waistband provides a bunch-free fit while you waltz through your winter wonderland.

For the price, I was shocked at - 1. How these fit and 2. The quality. They fit awkward and cheap and the entire side down the leg are see through. Also, the back lower area of the calf, see through! Not what I expected at all. Sent back

I have used these pants hiking in the desert in the 50s and skiing in the 20s. They are super breathable and warm with the specialized paneling of different fabrics. I was super impressed with the fit as well. They do stretch out with use but after washing they went back to their original size. One thing that I've noticed with other long underwear pants is that they can be see through which was not an issue with this pant. After skiing all day there is nothing better than taking off your ski boots and snow pants and hanging out with friends and in this pant I feel totally comfortable and confident doing that! It's also super badass that this company is woman run and that they have such a focus on sustainability. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a new baselayers!

I was BLOWN away by how warm these were. I love the zoned areas- it really fine tuned which places needed more warmth and other places that didn't. They stayed put and didn't move around, were so comfortable to wear, and let's be honest- that pattern is to die for! I wore these cross country skiing recently with just a thin wind pant on top of these, and surprisingly my legs stayed so warm the whole time I was skiing. I also was a fan of the flats seams- they are really comfortable and prevent irritation from wear. They ran a tad large so if you are in between sizes, size down!

These are eye catching, but also work so well. They fit incredibly well, move with you, and are pretty warm! I'm obsessed!

I love these pants for colder winter days on the skin track, nordic skiing and snowboarding at the resort. Pair this with your favorite shell pant and you will be set on the skinner or pair with a heavier pant and you will stay dry and toasty all day long at the resort. These pants have done wonders of keeping my legs warm while still breathing. Kari Traa is where it's at for base layers. I LOVE all of their products - such high quality in comparison to other brands. Also love that they are designed by women for women ;) This is a company I will always support!

These are the thickest weight of all of the Kari Traa base layers. They really are super warm. I'm in love with everything Kari Traa makes, it is all so cute, and these are no different! I got medium and they fit great (though my butt/thighs are on the bigger size for my height)

I'll admit, these caught my eye because they're really cute, and a refreshing change from dull colored baselayers. After wearing them for three days straight on a backcountry skiing trip I'm even happier with the Rett pants! They are a merino-poly blend, so you get all the antimicrobial and wicking properties and lots of breathability. The panels behind the knee and calves are thinner and more porous so you don't end up with pools of sweat. I purchased a medium in these, but could have gone with a small I think. The leg fits fine, but the waist is just a touch large on me.

I got these for my sister for Xmas and she didn't take them off all winter. Thick enough to stand alone for a winter run or XC ski, and great as a warm long-john layer under ski pants. Perfect for hanging out after skiing when you dont want to change but still want to look cute. She said she got constant compliments on them and everyone wanted to know who makes them. These are the bomb.
