I do not know how I survived sunny days with cotton t shirts on the river. Once I started wearing this shirt it changed the amount of time I could be in the sun, kept me cool in the heat, and protects from sunburn. The lightweight and durability is great and you will stay cool even during the hot days in the sun.

Here is some feedback from my dad who received this for Christmas: "I received this shirt as a gift and I couldn't be happier. It is the perfect weight for those hotter days, and even works great for casual Fridays. The shirt is the same high quality you expect from Simms, and the fit for me is perfect (5'9", 195 lbs). The zippers pockets are large enough or a fly box or a phone, and the zipper tags let you hang your forceps from them. I'm planning on picking up a couple more colors."

The shirt looks great and felt just right through the abdomen, but the upper back and sleeves were tight and wouldn't allow easy movement of arms when trying to fish. Unfortunately need to return.
