If you've learned from your mistakes, you'll know that keeping a Redington Rise Series Fly Reel Spool huddled away in your vest will allow you to adapt to conditions, especially if the fish aren't rising as you expected them to. The lightweight machined aluminum is built to withstand the harsh conditions on the river, ensuring years of use to come. Meanwhile, the large, u-shaped arbor and carbon fiber drag system keeps your movements smooth and strong. And, not to mention, the overiszed drag knob bolsters your overall performance and comfort.

This is a spool only not a reel and spool

You already have the reel for your dry line but your fly rod can also handle a sinking line so grab an extra spool and be ready when the hatch end and you want to go deep with some bunny fur.

I already own the reel in charcoal, that's a given or I wouldn't have bought this. The color is mesmerizing and works as expected. Amazingly! I wish this was sold as an entire blue assembly. Nothing but good things to say about it! I recommend it!

I bought the Redington Rise series reel for my Redington Vapen rod. They work great together, and I bought an additional spool to put some sink tip on. It's a very well made spool that gets the job done. Redington makes quality stuff, and offers a killer warranty, so you really can't go wrong with this reel/spool. Buy this, you'll thank me later.

Spools are a great way to add a new line type to your favorite setup without buying a completely new reel. I got one of these for a sink tip line and am very pleased. Makes changing a breeze, and saves some money over an additional full reel.

Product should come with a disclaimer that states it doesn’t fit previous models of the Rise reel...planned obsolescence.
