I have a pair of these boyshorts from 2016 in Black Patchwork and they're still in great shape and fit so comfortably. Bought another pair to have a spare and they're so uncomfortable! Definitely still provide coverage which is nice but there's less room in the thighs and the waistband isn't as comfortable. Will continue wearing my pair in the old style in medium and return these.

They are very comfortable shorts. Not like a lot of other swim shorts that I have worn, that kind of bunch up in the front and don't cover my whole butt. These are worn very well, just like mini shorts. Covers my butt and doesn't dig in the top. They fit great. I usually wear a M and I got a M

I like a bit more coverage in bikini bottoms and spent a lot of time looking for a boy short style that would work both for more active beach days and just lounging. I’ve been very happy with these so far. I’ve had for about a year and they’re still in great shape.

The Wife: This suit fits very comfortably. It isn't as cheeky as the picture shows and sits at a nice spot on the waist so you don't have to worry about parts showing. It's perfect for an active beach lifestyle.

I am a mom of 2 young children, and really wanted something I felt comfortable moving around in. These are awesome. They provide great coverage and feel very well made. I have tried on several swim shorts, and these are by far the most flattering. I feel great in them! I haven't worn them in water yet, but if they wash and wear well, I plan to buy them in more colors. I got the electric orange sevilla, and it's beautiful!

Be it climbing rocks or sitting spread eagle, these short provide the coverage generally not afforded to women's bikini bottoms. I would recommend these to someone who is looking for a bottom that allows them to move like a normal human in their swimwear. I bought the black color and my only complaint is that I wish they weren't so shiny. They fit true to size, I generally wear a XS or S in panties and I went with an XS.

I feel like the princess and the pea when it comes to bikini bottoms, but I am really, really excited about the coverage that this bottom has to offer. I really dislike the over-exposed feeling that I often get when I wear traditional bikini bottoms, but I'm not super keen on wearing a one-piece as the sensation of fabric suctioned to my stomach drives me bananas. So I opted for this bottom figuring that it would provide me with the coverage I wanted, without having to conform to the high-waist silhouette or one-piece style. I purchased the Peri Jasmine colorway, and it's a bit more rich / deep in color than the picture indicates, but then again that could be the color balance on my monitor more than anything. As for the fit, the front seems to fit perfectly. However, the back band seems to hug the back of my hips a little snugly—it's honestly not all that noticeable, but I do think if I sized up into a small, the actual shorts part of the suit wouldn't fit properly and I'd be swimming in a sea of material. I was told once that swimwear has a propensity for stretching out a half-inch to an inch after getting wet, so I opted to try this theory out on the Raya and it seemed to work! Additionally, I don't have an especially large derriere, but I have an athletic body type (31" hips, 26" waist) and prefer my bottoms to have more coverage than the standard "subtly cheeky" fit that's all the rage currently and the Raya achieves just that happy medium for me. For fit comparison, I do wear an XS or a Small (depending on the suit's butt coverage, though the Small is generally relatively loose-ish on me, albeit comfortable) in Patagonia swim bottoms, and wear an XS in Carve Designs bottoms.

Perfect boy shorts, just like you'd expect. I got these for my sister. She is stoked on them, for sure. She has the booty, in the family, and these have the perfect coverage. She is in a size medium. She is 5'9 and about 140-145? But, she definitely is a medium according to their size chart, in the hips. So, it was a perfect fit. So, my photo is bad. I'm sorry. My waterproof lens is all scratched up from sitting on the rock. But, these shorts are perfect! Maybe prAna needs to make lenses, eh?! Another solid and reliable pick, from prAna.

Cant go wrong with prana products in my opinion. I bought these as a gift for a friend and she loves them. I would highly recommend them!

Great swim bottom for whatever you may want to do while on the beach or in the stream. I really like the stretch fit material and design. A good bottom if you want to take adventures while in your swimmy suit.
