The straight across classic hipster cut is not flattering on my body type, and the high waisted one that's popular now is not flattering on me either. I've been wanting a high cut leg that was sort of mid rise but not the sort of crazy skimpy ones. These are perfect, everything that I wanted. I love the material and I love the sort of V-cut in the front instead of it going straight across.

I wan't a huge fan of the cut on these. They are somewhat in-between a high waist bottom and a regular bottom but in kind of an awkward way. I though that would be a good thing but it ended up just making me look a little square. I am pretty slender straight down and have an athletic build but these were just not working.
