This is the first yoga mat purchased, so not a lot to compare to...but overall it is high quality and comfortable. I get sweaty hands and feet and do slide a bit but I don't think that's the mat's fault.

This mat is as expected. It's cool that it is eco friendly in its design while still being a good mat. Good grip, even when sweaty. This is a bit thicker of a mat than I am used to, but the extra padding is nice in some poses. I would recommend this mat.

The colors and feel of this mat are fantastic. I have found though, my hands seem to slide/slip even in unheated practice. Wheather I am the problem, or the mat, not 100% sure but still absolutely worth the sale price I paid.

This is by far my favorite yoga mat I own. I need to snag another one because my husband I always argue over who gets to use it when we practice yoga! The thickness on this mat is amazing. It isn't overly thick that you feel you aren't close enough to the ground for stability, but it is thick enough that it is mega comfortable for beginners to advanced and everything in between! I have some lack of strength in my wrists, and they tend to feel fatigued and over worked pretty quickly, so having this mat has honestly been a life saver for them with that cushion and comfort it offers. The grip on this mat is beyond rad, you really feel secure and stable while posing, and you can really rely on that every time you practice. I haven't tried the mat in a hot yoga setting yet, but have been wanting to, as I feel it would offer that same level of security still even in that environment! The two tone on this mat is just an added bonus for style points. I love the colors offered, and it makes your mat really fun! I'm definitely the kind of person who needs something cute and colorful to motivate me to use it, and this mat does that for me! I highly, highly recommend this mat for anyone! It would also make a really great, thoughtful gift for a friend too!

I bought this mat for home use, and though I haven't tried a ton of different mats, I liked the cushion on this one, and it didn't feel too heavy for how nice the cushion felt. It stays in place as I move, and it doesn't become a total slippery mess as sweat gets on it. I'm not totally obsessed with the mat, but it's definitely satisfactory for the price.

Get that vital energy in the body 'Prana' and the control you need 'ayama' and take control of your breath again or at least try it on this yoga mat! It is utterly brilliant, I love that the TPE material is UV resistant, the colour hasn't faded and this has been used almost exclusively in bright sunshine by the pool. Lightweight also at just 2.2 lbs and made of non-toxic materials in its construction which is just as awesome!! Get your "Pranayama" on and give yoga a try at this excellent price point.

This mat has really nice cushion for those cat and cows. You don't need to fold your mat to keep you knees happy, they already thought of your joints when they made the mat. You wont regret getting this mat for starting your home practice, or if you're just tired of using the studio mats. Spread yoga and get a mat for your friends, family, or even a favorite coworker.

The top and bottom are extremely grippy. Very reliable for practices of any skill level. I prefer a matt of this thickness for practicing first time inversions.

I really love this mat and at first it's a little bit slippery but with several uses it becomes more comfortable.

At first it's a little bit slippery but with several uses it becomes more comfortable, not recommended for hot yoga.

This pad is a great size for the regular size people, its soft enough to be comfortable but not so thick that its heavy and cumbersome to carry. Great for throwing out where ever and getting your stretch on.

Lightweight, soft, medium cushion. No odor! I wish it was a little more compact though. Its lightweight would be better served if the mat rolled up smaller.

First of all I love Prana, I love their clothing their image everything. I just happen to not really like this mat. It broke in too fast for me and I can see its wear after about 6 months of use. I have a hard time sitting on my knees and joints without pain and this wasn't cushioned enough for me. That being said this is sold at a wonderful price so if you are just getting into yoga you will have no idea what I'm talking about and this is perfect! I love my yoga mat! It's the perfect thickness-it provides great cushion while being thin enough to provide stability. The surface is perfect too, not sticky but provides grip. It also rolls thin and is lightweight. The color is also as pictured, love the deep pink color. The length and width are just right too-I'm 5'8". I'm so glad I have it!

Perfect for yoga, allows you to move around without the mat moving with you. Cushioned enough that you don't feel like your practice straight on the floor. The color is true to the pictures.

In the past I really struggled with the gripping of mats when I got a little clammy. Not with this one! It's thicker and has extremely good grippage. Definitely recommended.

I've been practicing yoga for about 5 years, and I've used a good amount of mats. Most are the same as the other - grippy at first, but once you begin sweating, your hands begin sliding and your downward dog becomes difficult to press into. Not with the PrAna Eco Mat! I first used the Eco Mat in a yoga class Backcountry holds for their staff members in the mornings. I love PrAna -- I've used their chalk bags and their Halle Convertible Pant, both which I love and still use to this day -- but I've never used their mats before. They didn't disappoint! Not only is this mat sustainable and made with the environment in mind, but the material itself is way different than those of other mats I've used. It's lightweight and not like the typical rubbery mats that I'm used to practicing on. Plus -- it's biodegradable. Our yoga teacher really loves to get our breath going, so it's not long into the practice that the sweat starts flowin. I've had almost no issues with slipping or sliding other than the occasional foot slip when floating to the top of the mat. If you have sensitive or tweaky wrists like I do, the Eco Mat provides enough cushion so that your joints are supported. It's unique material has a moisture-wicking quality that helps keep your hands and feet stable throughout each posture. If you're looking for an eco-friendly, supportive, grippy mat, look no further because PrAna's Eco Mat is the one for you!

I really appreciate the extra cushion on this mat, as well as the non-slip properties. For some reason non-slip is something that yoga mats really struggle with, but this particular one seems to work really well!

I'm a beginner yogi, but this mat has been great for me. It's really padded and very comfortable with you hit the corpse pose!
