Go for the breakaway, not for breaking the bank, with the Pearl Izumi SELECT Pursuit Short-Sleeve Jersey. With an anatomical fit inspired by Pearl's PRO line, the SELECT Pursuit out performs its class, offering you long lasting support with clean, classic styling that craves podiums and KOM's, thanks to its breathable fabric and sleek, aerodynamic cut.

The jersey's SELECT Transfer fabric works to continuously pull moisture away from your skin when you perspire, keeping you comfortable and as dry as possible so that you can focus on the ride in front of you. Its cut is designed with race day in mind, utilizing Pearl Izumi's aggressive styling and Speed Sleeve construction to cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Features like an elasticized gripper at the back hem, and full-length zipper in front for additional ventilation give you a boost to comfort after the starting gun goes off, and you're putting down the hammer.

For races longer than your standard crit, the SELECT Pursuit has three rear pockets to store the nutrition you rely on, and if your group was given a start time pre-dawn or in the late afternoon, reflective accents help to ensure you stay visible to other road users on open courses.

Nice jersey, good materials / construction; comfortable. Fits perfectly to size assuming you are capable of reading a size chart and using a tape measure. Does not seem short; maybe in the front which makes sense given its use. Look at the picture and know that it is designed to be as tight on you as it is on that mannequin.

Sized up by reading the reviews but still super small. I ended up exchanging but the way it fit me, I sized up and 2 more additional sizes and now it's way too big. Service was good on the exchange but I stilled had to pay for the shipping on the return.

I have a 38 inch chest. Ordered the medium. It's too short across the chest, giving me armpit wedgies. Given all the other sizing complaints, I'll look at another option rather than try another size. Otherwise, it's a decent jersey if you can find one that fits.

The jersey itself is nice and seems very quality but the sizing is way small when looking at the size chart. I would size up 2 to 3 sizes.

Caution: These jerseys fit Very small. I used the sizing chart on the website and had a seamstress take my measurements to determine that I needed a medium jersey. When the jersey arrived, it was at least 2 sizes too small. I couldn't zip it up at all. I contacted Competitive Cyclist customer service via live chat and requested free return shipping due to the fact that their sizing chart was so far off. The representative said they would take care of it. I returned the jersey using the shipping label provided. Now that I have received my refund, I see that they still charged me for return shipping. I'm sorry, but that's piss poor customer service. I followed your sizing guide and it wasn't even close. Now I have to pay to return it. You've just lost a customer.

I own 4 of these now. Great for everyday training and I used it once for a time trial because it fits so well. I like the light fabric and longer (short) sleeves. Super comfortable, good pockets. Some have said it fits small but I don't think so; I forget I have it on once I get rolling.

I love PI clothes because their fit is usually very predictable; per the other reviews, this jersey is well made and fits like I'd expect it to outside of one weird measurement-the length. I'm 6'2", 180 lbs with expertly and subtly curated dad abs, and size L is laughably small.

This was a birthday gift for my husband. I ordered both small and medium to be sure as he usually wears small in Pearl Izumi but for this jersey medium was the better fit :)

I like it very much. As mentioned in other reviews it runs quite small.

I returned my order after I see it and try it. Too Small. You have to order 2 sizes up. But I ordered bigger size just to try the material and how long will it last.

Fit is terrible. Very short in front, and baggy around waist which causes anything in rear pockets to move side to side when riding.

I read the reviews after I made my purchase and was a little concerned that a large would be too small (6'1", 185lbs). It is definitely a little snug but the jersey is described as "race day" under the fit description so no real surprises there. It works for me! I love it in the navy with the matching pursuit attack bib shorts.

I read the reviews, I thought, but just went up one size. Nope, not enough. I'm thin so going from M to L fit the shoulders/chest....but long waist-ed. Bare midriff not a good look on me. XL might have caused baggy, mobile pockets. Would have returned, but life delayed my decision beyond 30 day limit. My bad, but disappointed that we have to adjust and hope for the best.

It's been so frustrating with this product. I am usually a S-M and I bought M at first, it was very snug, so I exchanged with L, and it won't even fit. M>L. Now I have spent more than $20 on shipping and returning. Forget it!!! ?

If you think you're a medium and have ever lifted a weight in your life buy an extra large. I'm 5'9" about 160 with an athletic upper body. I bought a large based on reviews and it's still way to small.

This has become my favorite training ride jersey when I'm out on the road. It's thin, breaths well, and feels great. I usually wear a large, but it was a tad too tight. I went up to an extra large and it's spot on. This sheer jersey will expose all of your tats, scars, fur, and flab. On the bike, the 3 pockets hold enough gels, light snacks, and a tool wallet for a 3-4hr training. The gripper prevents riding up in the rear, and the tapered arms stay in place. It's a very bright highlighter yellow, and has strategically placed reflectors.

I wear a small/medium in the pro leader series of Pearl Izumi. I'm 6' 155lbs. I ordered a small and it was 3 - 4 inches shorter in the front than what I'm comfortable wearing. It's also pretty see through so be ready to show off those nips if you order blue. I'll be returning it for another style of jersey. The jersey is very form fitting it's just a little bit too much so for me.

I wear large polo shirts and usually allow for the trim cut of bicycle shirts and order xlarge. This jersey in xlarge is about the size of a medium shirt so I am returning and hoping the XXlarge will fit. The sizing chart listed with this jersey is not correct.
