Designed for high-output cycling in warm weather, the Pearl Izumi Pro Mesh Jersey keeps you cool and comfortable throughout your ride. A combination of PRO Transfer Mesh and Pro Aero materials enhance airflow and aerodynamics where you need each most—airflow around the core and aerodynamics in key leading-edge areas. Pearl Izumi's patented Speed Sleeve construction optimizes the fit in your on-bike stance, yet the Pro is built with stretchy material that allows a comfortable fit in any position. The full-length zipper locks into place, but can be easily unlocked and opened with a single hand for mid-ride ventilation.

I have been using PI jerseys for almost 10 years and been very happy overall. Got this jersey in a size medium just like all the other PI jerseys that I wear and it was so tight that the zipper just slid down when it was fully zipped up. Also the zipper is not the standard zipper, it is more like a jacket zipper. I exchanged this and got an xl and it fits well in the front and sleeves but the back is enormous and flappy. The elastic around the bottom of the jersey reminds me of a super cheap knock off jersey that cost like $20. Overall this was not what I expected from Pearl Izumi. I understand the sizing and can get past that but the cheap elastic and zipper are not cool. I did get this from another shop in Colorado because competitive cyclist didn’t have my size. I just wanted to use this forum because I normally get quite a bit of stuff here and hoping it can help some people or PI out.

Usually I like PI bike clothing and had high expectations for this piece. Really liked the color too. Ordered up one size from past experience with PI form fit jerseys. I felt like a sausage wrapped in casing with this jersey. I have broader shoulders and am weekend warrior-fit and the fit of this was just ridiculous. I was stretching it to the point that it looked completely wrecked. Disappointed and returned.

Great looking jersey and really comfortable on hot days. Unlike other "summer" jerseys, this one doesn't feel like it'll fall apart when I breathe. Yes, it's tight. If you don't want a second-skin fit, Pearl Izumi offers tons of options with different cuts. It fits the same as other form-fit products I have from PI. I'm 6'1" with a long torso, and I don't have any issues with length as long as I'm wearing bib shorts. The shorter front is really nice in an aggressive riding position, since you won't have extra fabric bunching up.

This jersey is great in so many ways but falls short of being a keeper. And by falls short I mean it literally. It’s about an inch too short for me in the front. I understand that it’s designed for the on-bike position but I don’t want people to see my belly-button when I’m standing up. I’m a medium in every piece of PI kit that I own, often with a bit of room to spare, but this shirt in a medium was comically small on me. So I tried on a large and the problem was still there. I’m 5’9” and 154 pounds so there’s no way I’m wearing an XL. The fabric is fantastic. It’s super lightweight and breathable but not see-through. This is a great jersey for the hottest weather. I’m also a fan of the longer sleeves and the color and paisleys pops. It's too bad that I had to send this back but it’s simply not wearable.

I run a solid medium in most race fits, never is a large a good fit, and if its a good summer, can go down to small in about half my wardrobe. I have typical cyclist arms and could not get the medium over my skinny pipes especially with the rubber grip material...chest was tight too at 39" but the belly fit fine. I know this is all subjective but say in a rapha race fit, I am a medium...

I saw the PI Pro Mesh Jersey and Pro Bib Shorts in a clinic and was impressed with the style. The first time PI has ever impressed me with style and fit. I bought a kit and had low expectations. I own the best cycling kits in the industry and have paid a lot more for brands like Giordana and Assos. Those kits are great but this PI Pro stuff throws punches way out of its weight class. The fit is spot on. The jersey has a longer sleeve and almost reaches my elbow and the bibs have the perfect inseam for some crisp lower quad tan lines. The quality of the material is awesome as well. The bibs and jersey almost have a cooling effect. The chamois is spot on as well. Nice placement and great padding for all day adventures or races. This is the best value in the cycling industry. Great cycling kit at a great price! You will love these pieces. ENJOY!

This jersey is now part of my new favorite kit. As stated in my review of the Men's Pro Bib Shorts from Pearl Izumi, I have had a strong bias when it has come to biking bibs and jerseys. I've been biased to ride in other brands that I have always thought as superior to Pearl Izumi. Brands that have been in the business for longer, brands that are european, brands that are typically more expensive, etc. etc. The jersey, matched with the Pro Bibs, have torn that bias to shreds (and is probably starting to form a new bias) I wouldn't necessarily say that the jersey is what makes the kit, but it definitely does its job. It looks good, matches the shorts well, and has a good design. The tail is longer than the front, the pocket size isn't too big but not too small, and the material is super breathable. I think thats the most important part for me, is how well the jersey breathes. Ive found that the mesh material along with the tight sleeves make it a super comfy jersey, that isn't outgunned in the technical run of things. My one gripe with the jersey is the bottom part, with the elastic/rubber around to keep the jersey from bunching on your body. I have to go with a medium because of my height, but it turned out to be a little loose around the waist. I am a pretty skinny, lanky guy however, so I don't feel like it necessitates having a full star taken off for the overall review. This jersey is a nice addition to the Pro Bibs and will get people turning heads to check out your sweet kit. It has happened to me plenty of times already and I don't see it changing. I will definitely be buying more kits from Pearl Izumi in the future.

I would normally wear a size Medium in most jersey's but this one runs small. Be sure to size up. It's a nice race-fit jersey that breathes well for those warm summer days. It has the classic three back pocket layout for loading up on longer rides. If you are looking for a race-fit jersey then be sure to take a look at this one.
