Sometimes it can be hard to get yourself out of bed for that early-morning run, but when you've got the comfortable performance of the Patagonia Strider 7in Short waiting for you it'll be a little less daunting to grind out those pre-work miles. These ultralight running shorts provide breathable comfort in warmer weather thanks to their airy polyester fabric, and deliver enhanced support and performance with an updated boxer-brief liner. Similar in feel and performance to Patagonia's Capilene lightweight fabrics, this liner wicks moisture, dries fast, and breathes well to keep you comfortable when the morning heats up a bit more than you expected. It's also treated with Polygiene anti-odor technology, absorbing far less odor as you run to keep your shorts smelling fresh in between washes.

I like the shorts - wick well & dry fast. Excellent quality & fit (few inches above the knee). I don't LOVE the liner - maybe just me... I'd give a 7 of 10 for comfort. Could be a bit better fit - I have thick legs... so, that might be the problem - otherwise I really like them.

I got these for my boyfriend and they are now his go-to running shorts. Super comfortable, light, and offer a great freedom of motion. Only slight con would be the pocket in the back is quite small, would be nice if it could fit a phone for those shorter runs that don't involve wearing a hydration vest (and thus has the added storage).

Fourth pair. Great quality. Just what you would expect from a reputable company like Patagonia. Would not take them on a trail as the material is quite light and one snag and these would shred. But that makes them all the better to use on the road or in the gym.

I love the shorts but it had a no "Envelope-style pockets along the hips " it was simply just a pocket in the back of the shorts.
