I love the look of this jacket and as with all patagonia it seems to be well made and warm. It is described as a slim fit but even going up to a large was not enough. It was tighter than I prefer across my midsection and too tight in my shoulders. For reference I am 5’4”, an athletic 150lbs & usually wear and medium, sometimes even a small

I normally wear a large in jackets/coats and if it runs small, an XL. I bought an XL in this coat because I read reviews that it ran small and it was still too small. Around the arms and armpits, as well as chest was just too snug. I could see myself ripping it if I stretched a certain way. It’s too bad because I really liked the color and it seemed like it was a good warm, cozy jacket. Had this fit right, I would’ve given it 5 stars but I just had to return it.

I love this jacket! Very lightweight, yet warm enough to keep the chill off. This jacket fits true to size for me. I’m able to layer it with a light sweater and still be comfortable. Highly recommend!

Just received this jacket in basin green. Very warm, and I like the cut, color and proportions. I agree it runs slightly small. I am 5’9”, 155, 32G and ordered a large. I’m glad I did. It has enough room to wear a sweater underneath, and I think the medium would have been too tight in chest and hips for me. Agree with other reviewers that arms are cut narrowly, but I like that and arms aren’t too tight for me.

I am a Medium in Patagonia across the board and this jacket was hands down too small! The arms are way too tight! So sad because this is such a beautiful jacket

this is a nice jacket however the arms are tight!! the rest of the body fits nicely. I am going to return you cannot wear even a thin layer under it otherwise you cannot bend your arms. Small in shoulders as well.

I usually wear a large in North Face for layering and have never had an issue. This jacket in a size large would not even zipper up! This jacket is not for busty girls.

I'm sure this jacket fits some body types wonderfully. It's cute and well made, but I tried a medium and it was too tight in the shoulders. Then tried a large and it was too bulky around the middle. For context, I am 5'4", built like a swimmer, big shoulders and slim hips. I usually wear a small for the down sweater and medium in most other things. I was disappointed that Patagonia couldn't make this cut for athletic builds.

While I like the jacket it runs slim. I'm 5'6 130lbs and the S was pretty snug on me across the shoulders and chest. I usually wear sweaters or sweatshirts underneath and this is not a jacket I could do that with. I am returning and looking for a jacket that fits a bit looser.

Based on the reviews I almost ordered a large instead of a medium and I am so glad I didn't. For reference I am 5' 8" and 150 lbs. The fit is perfect on me and a large definitely would have been too big. A really chunky sweater makes it a little more snug but not uncomfortable. I haven't tested it yet for warmth in super cold weather but I bought this as an intermediate coat when I don't want to wear a giant parka to run errands and it so far it has been good for that.

Fantastic offering from Patagonia. Fit is a bit slim as others have said, but overall a great piece.

The Jacket has a slim fit- so it you have a larger bust....size up.

Gave this as a gift, here's what they had to say: If you’re thinking about a new Patagonia jacket, this is the one to get. The different patterns on the arms and shoulders are a nice touch and it has so many pockets to hold everything you need. I’m usually a small and I find that this jacket is made to be pretty fitted. It’s fine with a light jacket underneath but if you want a bit of room I’d recommend going a size up.

I am 5’6” 142lbs athletic build with broad shoulders. I ordered a small but The slim fit was too slim and my shoulders felt restricted in this. Love the style of the coat and the mid section fit ok. It would have been tight to fit a sweater or anything thick under this coat. Going to try the medium and hope it fits better.

This is a nice jacket, not too boxy, hence the slim fit. I own a The North Face Thermoball Jacket and wanted something a little different, in black, and thought I'd check this one out. The radalie is slightly heavier than TNF Thermoball, but similar in design. I'm 5'3, l06 lbs., with a 32A bust, for reference and chose the XS. I love the length and the flattering active, slim fit. It is a little longer than most of my jackets, which I like, and for me, this can be comfortably worn with leggings because it covers my bum. The sleeves are tapered so too many layers create a tighter fit around the forearms and wrists. However, I was able to fit a t-shirt and TNF 1/4 zip glacier fleece comfortably under this jacket. It also fits well with just a Smartwool 250 baselayer top. I also like that it is a matte finish and not shiny.

I'm a return Patagonia shopper. Had the nano puff jacket previously and thought it was too thin so needed something a bit warmer but also had a cute style. Love this jacket. Fits great and the green color is great for a pair of jeans and my bean boots. You won't be disappointed

I had two Patagonia jackets already and love each one and this one doesn't disappoint. It's warm, while still being fashionable and tapered. For being a technical jacket it still has great function and style. It's lightweight while still keeping me toasty on chilly days. It fits true to size.
