Osprey designed the Transporter 65 Duffel for rugged outdoor missions and long-distance travel, with its durable nylon fabric, deployable backpack straps, and convenient storage making it perfect for life on the move. It's ideal for everything from tossing it in the back of your dusty pickup to slinging over your shoulder while you navigate across bustling airports.

Occupying the middle rung of Osprey's Transporter series, the Transporter 65 Duffel is just right for weekend missions and overnight escapes. Plentiful storage and smart pocket placement make easy work of stashing and retrieving outdoor gear, clothes, and accessories. The nylon fabric employs a double TPU coating, which prevents abrasion and outside moisture from compromising your gear. Osprey added protective flaps that keep outside moisture from seeping inside in nasty weather.

This bag was named correctly. It is THE TRANSPORTER. I stuffed it full of crap 10 minutes before I had to leave on a trip. Easy to load, burly, and feels much better on your back than a lot of other big duffels with Backpack carry. I didn't use any of the tinier pockets/compartments, but they looked like they would come in handy if you didn't want to lose small things in the vast opening. If you are buying this to be a piece of luxury luggage, you are not doing your due diligence as a shopper. It is extremely versatile, but it will not be a great dedicated carry on for business travel or high end travel.

I recently brought this duffel traveling on a 5 day trip while visiting family. I thought it was the perfect size for the trip, and I even had some room to spare. I wouldn't have wanted to bring a bigger bag, this one was perfect. I appreciate all the handy compartments outside and inside of the bag, as it makes for easy and organized packing. Having backpack straps allowed me to maneuver through the airport quickly. This is a solid and burly bag that does the job and more!

Tried this out for a quick camping trip and ended up buying the 40L size. Burly haul handles, comfortable shoulder yoke and straps, and superior durability make this the best duffel I've ever used.

If your duffle or crag bag is going to take a beating, there are definitely several bags in this category that will fit the bill and Osprey's offering is no different. Checked several times during my vacation and nary a scratch. Removable/stowable straps come through in a pinch for that gate check, but minus one star because I'd personally prefer the more standard horizontal-oriented access panel to Osprey's vertically oriented opening for quick repacks and grabbing my stuff in an airport dash.

Having long loved the North Face Base Camp Duffel, I had reservations about switching to the Osprey Transporter. The Transporter is better designed with stow away straps, inside storage straps and it is far more comfortable. The Transporter is the best duffel I have ever used.

This Osprey Transporter duffel is so nice it's unreal! I love it for travel, and I was even able to use it as a carry-on on my recent flight (in this 65 liter). It's so durable and also very comfortable when wearing it as the backpack style. I also really like the straps inside that help you to pack your clothes down much nicer. Overall awesome backpack/duffel for whatever you want to put it through!
