Toured with it once on 11/14/2020 at Stevens Pass. It fitted all the avy gears, 2L hydration pack, energy drink, boot crampon, and still had plenty of other space. The waist strap is supportive and the shoulder strap is nicely padded. The only downside is the goggle compartment is not made out of meshed material so it might scratch your goggle.

If I love this pack, why did it get four stars and not three? First off, the pack is very well thought out. It's designed to be a ultra-light ski touring pack. If you have the pack fully loaded, it's not as comfortable as more structured packs, but that not what I use it for. I like that i can carry skis in either the "A" manner or diagonally (see notes below). There are two minor things that kept it from getting five stars. 1) the loop to hold an internal bladded is too short, so its too difficult to use the bladder loop in the pack. 2) the loop at the bottom of the bag used to hold the skis on the diagonal tucks into a very small little pocket. I have found it difficult to get it back in, and impossible with gloves on. So would I recommend this pack? YES! I love this pack. I use it for skining to carry a layer or two of clothing, goggles, water, food, etc. For that it's perfect. The storage and size are spot on. If you are looking for a pack with more structure to carry more weight, look at Ortovox's Haute Route. I also own that pack and love it also.
