I bought this for a travel pack as I do a lot. I work in the airlines and go both for pleasure and business. I have been an avid outdoors man for a long time. This pack has all the features you need for a day at the crags to yes a couple weeks to a favorite destination. I am a light traveler but my cloths are the active types like the Patagonia venue and mammoth alnaska pants so they take up less space and we’re great travel friendly articles. So go out and get one for all your epic adventures

I picked this up after searching a while for something that would serve well as a daypack for some modest hiking, as well as something I could use as a weekend bag for work trips, and so far so good. It's remarkably light without being an "ultralight" and can expand to hold a great deal, but can also be rather compact with the compression straps. It also has a nice assortment of accessory pockets, more than I realized when ordering just by looking at the pictures. So far I've taken it on a handful of hikes and can say that it sits close to the back and the supposed ventilation system does little to nothing, so I imagine that will only become more so in hotter weather if that bothers you. I've also taken it on a flight and it fits completely full into an overhead bin, and even would probably fit under the seat with some discomfort. Definitely would fit under a seat modestly packed. Finally I think it has a wonderful aesthetic, and has a great carrying capacity without being too bulky in the strap department like other company's models I looked into. It's a great little pack, I'd recommend!
