With 3mm neoprene, a titanium laminate for warmth, and a rubber sole, the NRS Kicker Men's Remix Shoe keeps your feet warm when you're paddling and protects them when you're rock-hopping. The anatomically constructed toe box provides plenty of a room, while a plastic shim in the sole provides some structure and protection against sharp rocks and those hungry whitewater piranhas. A shoe-top drawcord cinches the Remix snugly onto your foot, and the high-traction rubber wraps up onto the toe, instep, and heel so you'll be protected even if a swarm of carnivorous fish mistake you for a free buffet.

These are terrible shoes and filled with water. I have an older womens NRS kicker and they are great shoes.

Used for kayaking, working on the lake shore, and installing a pier. The fit is perfect even for my low volume foot because the ankle adjusts to keep me firmly in them. Keeps me warm-footed on cooler days but not too warm on hot days, and always dry. The sole is tough and grips great, the toe box is generous, the guard around the toes and heals is wonderful prtection, and the insole is very surprisingly comfortable. I like the height being above typical water shoes and far lower than my NRS boots (that I also love). Great buy ... on sale or not ... and great quality.

I do like these water shoes and have used them a fair bit kayaking. With my big feet, I find space inside of kayaks is pretty tight so big cumbersome footwear won't work. These shoes are a comfortable fit and offer a nice blend of protection without being cumbersome or intrusive. I only gave them 4 stars as I find the drawcord and toggle on the back can get in the way depending on which kayak I am using (I have several different types). I also find that I can't seem to get the top to fit just right, it is either too tight or too loose and leaks regardless. Definitely a good shoe and I would buy them again although these days I tend to just use water sandals instead.
