The NRS El Grande Paco Sleeping Pad provides a dry, comfortable night's sleep throughout the most arduous river trips. It might not stop you from rolling into the river while sleeping, but the welded, industrial-strength PVC pouch will keep your bag from getting soggy. This self-inflating foam pad also takes just a minute to take shape and then four minutes to deflate, making setting up and taking down camp is a breeze.

By far the best camp mattress I've ever used. Felt just like being in my bed at home.

Super comfortable, super durable. I bought this for long raft trips, and I'm sure I'll probably be floating a lazy river on it this 4th of July.

What can I say? It's worth being a bit bulkier to pack. It is like sleeping at home in bed wherever you are!

And get this!!! After a float down the Colorado on the normal pacos and looking forward to 6 months of dirt bag life after, I sprung on a fatty. For a little more packed size, you get much more comfort. I lived on this thing for 6 months while living out of my car from Flagstaff to Salida to Salty Lake and everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, in between. I'd like to think that my paco is like my modern cowboy roll, but it does so much more. Floats on rivers and lakes, makes for fun squishy yoga mornings, great camp chair, oh and a bomber sleeping pad. Like other reviews mention, strap this on a cooler for rafting trips for mega comfort, but don't forget the paco at the tailgate too! All this wrapped up in a 13 lb package! For the comfort, I've even backpacked with it. Bottom line: This is the chunky version of a legendary piece of river history. Buy it, you can't regret it.

Man this thing is cushy. I use it for passengers in the raft and my bed on shore. Don't have to worry about big waves on the boat or rocks in my bed at camp. Only downside (other than price) is it sleeps a little colder than other pads because of the PVC.

This pad redefines what outdoor sleeping is all about. You can surf on this pad, sleep on it, sit on it. Make love on it if you're fortunate enough to have a partner! Buy one, and it will be passed down from generation to generation, even if your only children are dogs who will also love this product.

This thing is the best. It better be for the price. Use it all the time. Very big.
