Not only is merino great for touring, but this piece, in particular, is exceptional. It has a mesh back making it ideal to wear under a pack. The 1/2 zip makes ventilation easy. I also love wearing this top for running!

I love Mons Royal in general, but this layer holds a special place in my closet due to it's mesh backing which is perfect when I'm wearing a pack and getting extra sweaty.

This has quickly become my go-to base layer. It's soft & comfy & really keeps your temps under control on those multi-transition hot-to-cold kind of days. I need to order 5 more.... Although it doesn't even stink!
