Mammut made the Men's Haldigrat HS Pant for freeriding power, backcountry touring, and even mountaineering. Its DryTechnology Pro membrane boasts extreme waterproof, breathable ratings for solid protection from snow and plenty of breathability for strenuous ascents. Large zippers on each side provide sufficient ventilation for steep skin tracks and springtime mountaineering endeavors. The bib is removable for proper coverage whether you're riding spring corn or winter powder. Mammut reinforced the seam edges with Dyneema for reliable durability against crampons and ski edges. One of the zippered pockets is sized for Mammut's Barryvox beacon.

Only was able to use it once this season before the ski season was cut short; however, my initial impressions are two thumbs up. The material seemed better compared to other bibs I looked. The upper portion of the bib is a nice flexible material that allows you to freely move around and doesnt bunch up like other bibs when you sit down. I agree with the other commenter that the teal color is more of a cool blue and looks good. I will say that if you have an athletic build with wider chest, then you should probably size up. I usually wear a 32 waist and while my waist was just right, but I had trouble zipping the upper portion and was very tight when I did. I returned it for the 34 and it was perfect, the adjustable straps on the side tucked in the waist, so no problem on the waist. In colder weather make sure to wear extra layers as this is only a shell. Hope this helps others.

Okay have not used these outside yet but pretty much have tried them on three times and can't wait to ski in these. The zip off bib is a killer design and I think I'll wear it riding chairlifts but take it off to tour in. great adjustable side straps for perfect fit with any and all layers. Leg pockets are perfect for a beacon and fit is spot on. a bit roomier than my old Mammut soft shell pants which is good. fabric is beefy and stretches like the jacket. Wing Teal color is not teal but a cool blue that goes with most colors well.
