For those of us lucky enough to live near ranges where a powder day isn't legit unless it's knee-to-waist deep, the FlyLow Men's Baker Bib Pant offers the highest level of protection for the snowiest places on earth. Three-layer Intuitive membrane construction and fully sealed seams keep you totally dry in every imaginable environment, whether you're charging through Wasatch blower or making deep turns in thick Sierra snow. The robust nylon face is reinforced along the cuffs and knees with 1000-denier Cordura, ensuring the pant lasts for many seasons to come without prematurely fraying or tearing.

The pant's adjustable bibs and waist tabs allow for a custom fit that keeps deep snow from billowing inside every time you take a trip to the white room. Inner and outer thigh vents improve ventilation when you're skinning in the backcountry or resort lapping on warm spring days. Other key features include a kangaroo chest pouch for quick-access, as well as a variety of zippered pockets for secure storage of snacks, gadgets, and resort passes.

I ordered an XL - My size is typically 36-38 for pant size. I am 6'5 235 ibs. When I put these on, I felt like I had a vice around my waist and chest. I can fit into an Arcteryx L and Arcteryx XL's are almost too big. This reminds me of bike clothing's version of an XL (an XL in road bike clothing is for people who weigh 180-200). The garment is well-made - but I've noticed other folks complain about size. They need to re-think their sizing. I am returning to Backcountry.

Bought these bibs and have been thoroughly impressed. These bibs have handled all of the jibs, carves and side hits that I have thrown at them. With just the right amount of stretch I can move freely and comfortably. I also love the reinforcements in the knees and ankles near the boots. BOMBER. Don't miss out on these!!

Great bibs that are baggy in the legs, allowing for more movement and layers if needed. Great venting for uphilling and have a good placement of pockets based on the few days that I have used them. Will put 50+ days on them this season and can update on their durability then.

I am a 6'1" 200 lb man who usually wears pants size 34x32. I purchased these bibs in XL to replace my Northface Freedom bibs. I love them. They are shells without insulation. Yesterday in Utah in 10 degree weather, I wore insulation beneath the shells (Arcteryx proton pants) and I was very comfortable. You can wear these with just a base layer on warm days, or get midlayer lower insulation for cold days. I have both the Helly Hansen insulator 3/4 zip pants and the Arcteryx proton and I would recommend the HH insulator zips due to ease of access due to full thigh zips. These bibs have long zip along the left leg that allows you to put on or take off the midlayer without removing the bibs. The bibs also have a zipper to pee, which is very important. Just make sure your midlayer lower allows for that, otherwise you will have to sit down like I learned yesterday. The material is very tough, and when I walk it does not make a swooshing sound like the Northface did. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I tried L and XL... L was not tight exactly, but it would not allow for a lot of movement bending or for ease of using midlayers. If you are similar height and weight but have thinner thighs, I would try the large. My thighs are on the fat side, so the XL is a better fit. Best of luck!

These bibs, size XXL, were not designed to fit humans. So tight above the waist I can’t bend over with out fear of blowing out the seems (I’m 6’2” 270lbs. At 250lbs I was about 16% body fat. Yes, I’m old and have a dad bod these days). So baggy below the knees I don’t see how they can refer to using them for touring in the product description (the left pant will be rubbing the right leg with every step causing friction and wear and tear on the bibs). Aside from fit, these appear to be my favorite bibs I’ve ever owned, though they will also be the only bibs I’ve owned and never used. Sad to see them go but they are getting mailed back after I hit send.

Do not buy from Flylow, I've been waiting three weeks for these bibs. Customer care tells me I can place an order for another pair but won't help me otherwise. With all the competition I'd suggest buying from a company that will actually help you if there's an issue with your product.

I am 5’8” with a 35” chest, I found the smalls fit perfectly. In other brands of ski pants/bibs, I was limited to ordering Short lengths because I wear a 30in inseam. Big bummer because a lot of Short lengths are limited in color offerings. The Baker Bibs have been the answer to that! Sizing is true to their size chart, I ordered Small and the length is perfect for a 30in inseam. Material is bomber with plenty of pockets. The straps are fully adjustable, and there is Velcro adjustments on the waist as well. All the zippers are waterproof which is a great feature, and they have long zipper vents on the legs so this could work for touring as well as resort use.

Just got these in the mail and can't wait till it starts snowing. Haven't used them yet but first impressions are all great. Construction seems bomb proof - love the reinforcing on the knees and cuff. Great pockets and zippers that all work well. Mostly writing this to help others with sizing as it sucks to be in between spending $400+ on a guess! I gave Flylow a shout to get help with sizing as I'm usually in between a small and medium. I'm 5-10, 160lb. My inseam and waist are all size S typically (30x32 jeans), but chest is wider than average S size (about 39.5") so I was concerned about the top of the bib in a small being too tight. Flylow said go with a Medium and they were spot on. Upper bit of the bib fits perfect - plenty of room for midlayering and has great adjustability to bring any extra width in. The lower portion also fits great in the Medium. Just a bit baggy, but I don't think it would really be noticeable visually VS a small - it's just in the way they feel, and I'd much rather feel a little loose than have the bib binding when I'm strapping in or crawling out of a tree well I pitted myself in! So if you're in my same situation go a size up. Flylow said the bib has plenty of ways to tighten up if they're a little big, but no way to loosen it up if it's fitting a little small (sans messing with where the bib actually sits on your body - which is a bad way to do it as it'll start to bind in weird places) Hope it helps!

The baker bib is truly the best bib I've ever used. My last pair had over 200 days on it over the course of 3 seasons in the very wet PNW. While the waterproofing began to ware off towards the end of its life (as any bib or ski pant will) it can be easily fixed with proper care using Nikwax. After 3 seasons it was time for another pair, how could I pass up on this years rad colors. I am 6'2" and ~175 lbs. I find that the Large fits me very well. For reference I typically wear a size 32x32 pant and I have enough room to layer at the waist and do not feel the cuffs bunch at the base of my ski boot. Perfect. Adjustable elastic suspenders will help you tailor fit the length to your liking while Velcro at the hips helps you dial in the fit to your body type and layering system. This is an all around beast of a bib, resort, backcountry, side country, you name it. Generously long leg vents on the inside and outside of the leg ventilate very well even on hot spring skin tracks or to just drop some heat on the way back up the lift. Pockets for days. Snacks, phone, wallet, beacon, map, whatever you have there is a pocket for it. Get the Baker Bib, you won't be disappointed.

Still the best. We relaxed the fit up top by 1/4" for 2020.

I love these bibs, but be forewarned that if you have more “athletic” quads you might want to size up. They run a bit hot, but having the vents really helps to regulate the body temp during touring or in resort. Also this could just be me but the really reinforced chest pockets makes my chest pretty sweaty if I’m not careful about my layering and jacket venting.

I have to give it 5 stars. The "cons" are minimal. The positives outweigh the negatives for sure! Cons: - needs pant gaiter hooks - assuming the rubber elastic fails the longevity of the bomber pants - the beacon pocket needs to be a bit bigger, at least it's a tight fit for my BCA Tracker II - Shoulder bib buckles seems a bit cheap, and not being able to replace seems unreasonable for bomber-proof pants - I wish the pockets had better lining - seems like the material is cheap That being said and out of the way, I still am very happy I purchased these bibs. They are great for touring - can dump heat in seconds (4) vents, (2) for each leg / reinforced knees and inside bottom pant leg from abrasion / the bib buckles, as cheap as the seem to be are good in the quick release with the ease of a squeeze / adjustable shoulder straps / I specifically love the orange, great for visibility / bomberproof / true to fit with mobility room / heat from lower body retains well with bib style / waterproof zippers / (2) chest pouches - the one with zipper, which I put I.D. to identify and purchase them tasty brews, the other I use for my beacon and utilize the clasp to attach my bungee chord off my beacon. Overall they are bomber proof, have enough pockets to carry stuff, regulates temperature with multiple vents, style is sick, great colorways, sexy bunnies will check you out with the right strut every time. I'd buy another in a heartbeat and might have to!

I love how the top portion of these bibs fit and the pockets and how the waste tie down are great. Overall, the legs are way too wide for people touring or moving quickly in the backcountry so they really are an inbounds product in my opinion. The textured knee pads look cool but they grab a lot of snow.

Really just writing this to point out one of the biggest product design flaws I've seen to date... not exaggerating. Turns out Airlow's product designers out in Tahoe haven't yet realized that their Vietnamese counterparts elected to use extraordinarily cheap thermal-injected plastic for the pant's upper-torso clips. Of course, that wouldn't really be an issue if the clips were interchangeable...... they aren't As a matter of fact, if just 1 of these 25¢ clips breaks the entire $500 pair of pants needs to be replaced. Why? Because the bespoke clips weren't designed to open / close to enable the insertion / removal of a functioning strap. Otherwise a great job!

I have the 2018 version and ordered the 2019 version in a different color. these bibs are great in almost all ways, comfortability, durability, utility, etc. the only down side is in the leg they have opted to go even larger in width just above the knee which makes for a much baggier feel down through the ankle to the boot which works fin for the mor park rat look but if you are looking to use these for more aggressive touring with more of a mountaineering aspect the extra flair got in the way and made use of crampons more difficult, as they would some times get caught on the points when kicking in over time. otherwise great bibs get a little cold when you sit on cold chairlifts on your butt only as they are only shells might be good to add a slight layer of extra insulation there but the pocket set up is amazing configuration wise. i had a few issues with the hip pocket zippers getting caught on the fabric but otherwise . great bib. this review only has 3 stars to get peoples attention about the flare leg and fit, if you only cruise the resort they are fine but are a bit too much for me for touring in the back county. i got the large 6' 1" 185 lbs fits great everywhere but legs mentioned above

Bomb Bib, super warm, great features, durable, water proof. The sizing is horrible for Men and Women. Im 6'2" 190lbs, pretty skinny these are a little tight on me around the waist belly when layered up definitely slim around the waist. Length is perfect. My lady is in a XL in the women's version 5'5 130lbs with a butt...XL lol. Owners even admit their sizing is on the small/slim size.

I’ve been skiing for 15 years I’m 16 years old and I’ve been riding freestyle and free ride for a while and these pants stand the test from rails to deep cliffs and will keep you dry even when dumping rain I’ve had a blast since day on with these pants even when it’s hot out the feel light but also can take a pounding even with big slams they hold up just fine I would highly recommend these to anyone who enjoyed a kickass pair of pants for free ride and freestyle

I used to fight wildfire in BC and wore a chest pack for my radio, gps, notebook, compass etc. This is the first high quality bib I've worn that has comparably practical chest pockets on the bib (also love the thigh pocket). Other high end brands (Arcteryx, Patagonia etc.) seem to cheap out on the amount of fabric (no chest pockets) so this was a bonus for Flylow. I bought the Large (and usually go XL for "relaxed fit") and found the fit perfect: baggy enough without being excessively wide. Lastly, the reinforced knees and heels made it sick for sledding, alder bashing or apres. I'm a diehard snowboarder and I'm converted to a "ski brand". Just sayin. All around best bib I've ever owned.
