Mammut's Broad Peak IN Hooded jacket keeps you warm throughout the winter thanks to its high-fill down that lofts to trap in heat. Its exterior is constructed with Pertex Quantum material that resists wind and light precipitation, allowing you to enjoy being outside even if you get caught in a flurry. The insulated hood includes your head and neck in the warmth, and works with the adjustable hem and elastic cuffs to seal out drafts that threaten you with chills.

I was given this product from Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. I have had jackets from all different brands and I actually think the Broad Peak hooded down jacket is the most comfortable one I have ever owned. It packs really nicely, which is one of my favorite parts. The cuffs and hood are hemmed with some nice elastic so when your hood is on it stays put to your head. Mammut is very true to size! I am 5'5" and weigh 127 lbs. and am a small in this jacket and have some room to spare, however not too much room. Some down jackets for women when they fit too large they have this extra material around the breasts (Patagonia down jackets have this problem) and this jacket does not have that which I really like, and it fits nicely under a shell jacket. I have used the Broad Peak hooded down jacket primarily for ski touring. I like how high the jacket goes over your chin, which is nice for colder/windy conditions. I have used this mostly on cold days touring and will always have it in my pack for the ski down if temperatures are too high to wear it on the way up. I am also always looking for a light puffy to put on my harness while climbing. This one packs up nicely with a carabineer loop. I guess my only complaint is that it doesn't have a cellphone pocket on the chest, which would be nice for climbing.
