Not only does the lemonaid flavor taste amazing, but I dont have to eat multiple an hour. The high amount of aminos really fights off cramps on long runs/ultras. Overall I am stoked on these, wish the price wasn't so high or I would be using these all the time.

First off, I generally don't like gels. The chocolate coconut has a decent taste. I prefer both GU and GU Roctane as they seem to work well for me. I think the addition of the amino acids is what is key in GU. They fuel my long rides and they work for me.

I got the Roctane Lemonade flavor. These definitely aren't the worst tasting supplement I've ever tasted, but they're not overwhelmingly delicious. All in all though, Roctane Gu's do give quite the energy boost when you need it. In my opinion, if you're pushing your limits and need a kick in rear end, these are well worth the taste. Update: The Blueberry/Pomegranate flavor tastes a lot better than the Lemonade. It's actually pretty good!

When I know its going to be a huge day in the alpine I stash a few Roctanes in my pack. They certainly don't taste as good as the regular Gu products, but the energy boost is insane. Time after time they keep me going on my 12+hour epics. Personal favorite flavor is the cherry lime.

Compared to other gel products, this is great! Other products with gunky and gritty. GU flavors are smooth and easy to swallow while riding. The top is also easy to tear off while riding.

I use these for mountain biking, and they work better than any other gel I've used, especially when I'm doing longer rides and tougher, sustained climbs. Expensive, but worth every penny. Compared to what I spend on gear and components, and even gas, it's a completely reasonable expense. Taste is fine. Who cares? it's not a meal, it's an energy gel. I prefer the caffeinated models, but the mixed box is great because I have the option of going decaf, and I don't get burned out any one flavor.

The Chocolate Raspberry is the bomb. Pricey as hell, but on long days I'll bring 1 Roctane & 1 or 2 normal GU's. Love the Chocolate, Blueberry, & Orange (not sure they make this anymore) but I find the others to be questionable.

I like the taste of the blueberry pomegranate version but its hard to justify at the price. Its on the thicker side of gels. No stomach problems for me. 3 out of 5 stars really b/c of price

I can't speak for the products usefulness but this stuff taste nasty, The kinda nasty that makes you think, 'aww crap, I ordered a whole box of these?!' We received a donation from them, much appreciated GU, for our event and we all tried them out, oh boy I have some regrets in life and that has got to be in the top 10. I don't do Caffeine before trying to perform cause I don't like the crash so this product isn't for me, you may have a different opinion.

Roctane is great for when you are about to hit a wall and need a fatty pick-me-up. Caffeine for a jolt of energy and nice blend of amino acids for recovery, overall a great product. The Island Nectars flavor is fantastic.
