From summer vacations and backcountry treks to sailing trips, the Garmin Montana 680t GPS keeps you locked in to your location at all times. Access to both GPS and GLONASS satellites results in improved positioning and faster fixes, and features such as a touchscreen color display and built-in camera improve your overall experience.

It comes pre-loaded with TOPO U.S. 100K maps and includes a one-year BirdsEye Satellite Imagery subscription so you can start adventuring the moment it arrives. A barometric altimeter and three-axis tilt-compensated compass offer additional navigational help. The vivid touchscreen display is easily readable, even in bright sunlight.

A built-in camera automatically geotags the coordinates of your photo, allowing you to navigate back the the exact same spot in the future or upload the location for others to find at geocaching.com (you can also upload geocaches from this website to find new adventures and challenges). Adding more maps to the Montana is easy so you're not restricted in your range. In fact, you can share waypoints, tracks, routes, and geocaches wirelessly with other Garmin GPS users. Plus, the Montana is compatible with a wide array of mounts so you can use it in your car, handheld, on your ATV, boat, bike, or just about any other form of transportation.

This is an amazing piece of equipment that provides outstanding features for making it easy to negotiate the locations and terrain you find yourself. The camera location system is magic and so helpful. Another very beneficial aspect is the large screen, that allows for great clarity and delineation of contours.
