Edelrid's Aramid Cord Sling stands out among all other climbing slings with its tubular look, but that's not all. Its high-strength aramid construction delivers a higher breaking strength than standard slings, and it has a stiffer feel for threading anchors and climbing gear.

I picked up 4x of the 60cm and 2x of the 120cm for a trip to the Dolomites where threading sharp limestone is pretty common. First off, they're stiff. Don't plan on using these as trad draws etc. Over-the-shoulder only. That said, they're THIN and low bulk and because of their construction, are much less prone to tangling over the shoulder. Besides threads, I've found them extremely useful setting up TR anchors over an edge when I don't carry or need a bulky static. I'll simply run both 120cm over the edge and the aramid build just feels SOLID like that. You don't need a ton of these but a few in the quiver is a nice addition. Bravo to BC for carrying these in the US. I had to source mine for Germany which was $$.
