This harness weighs nothing, yet I can hang in it for days. It's really streamline and just the basics. The stretchy material on the leg loops keep a great snug fit, but not too tight. The waist belt is a really thin and smooth. I love the gear loops and the unique design. There's actually only two big loops with a divider in between. Perfect for hard sport or trad where there's minimal gear. There are a few more comfortable harnesses out there, but not at this lightweight.

Although the bright green hurts my eyes a little, the performance is unlike anything else I've used. I had a Petzl Hirundos for the last couple years which I absolutely loved, but the straps, leg ones especially, we're fairly slim to save weight, and you could definitely notice after any amount of seated belaying or resting on a climb. The Ace, however, has so much support it was almost shocking to me the first time I weighted it. It's also more flexible and softer all around than the Petzl. Possibly lighter but I haven't double checked the specs. The Edelrid folks definitely knocked this out of the park. I just wish there were more colors!
