When white skies and cold snow come blowing at your local mountain, simply grab your Columbia Bugaboo Omni-Heat Pants and you're all set for warm legs on a snow day. Omni-Tech equips this pant with waterproof, breathable protection, and taped seams enhance waterproofing by preventing a wet snow from seeping through. When the day turns really cold, you'll appreciate the synthetic insulation and thermal-reflective lining that traps your precious body heat, while the leg gaiters ensure no snow ends up in your boots on waist-deep powder days. A regular fit gives you room to move unrestricted all over the mountain, and still remains comfortable even with your thickest baselayer on underneath.

They’re going back. Purchased for our 14 YO daughter. The fit was weird. Waist and length were fine, but tight in the thigh (and she’s slim).

These pants were perfect for watching my daughter ski race! Stayed warm standing outside for hours!

I got these for my little sister who is currently 11, but she's growing like a beanstalk. I wanted to get her a pair of solid pants that would get her through the season, but I knew there was no reason to spend a ton since she'll likely be outgrowing them by next winter. These are a perfect fit. They offer good waterproofing and insulation, without being too bulky and restricting movement. They seem to fit her well too, she's tall and skinny- depending on the brand, she's typically XS or S, and the S/Reg in these was the ticket. Overall, I think these are a great pant at a great pricepoint- they may not be super fancy or light, but they get the job done.

Bought these for the slopes. Nice soft fleece lining and appeared thick and durable, however they are a total b!T{h to get on. I am 5'7'' and 150 lbs with a booty. I got a M because I wear a size 8 in Prana, North Face, Patagonia etc. I had to shimmy these things up my legs and they barely snapped closed. They sit nicely on the natural waist but they gave me a giant camel toe. There was no way skiing or bending was possible. I should have ordered a large and will probably exchange for one since they appeared to be great pants, especially for the price!

Bought for my wife- from her: Looks and feels great, Kept me warm in 32 degree mountains and I'm from tropical climate near the equator so that definitely speaks volumes. Only thing missing are decent pockets but you can make up for that with your jacket. I am 5'6 110 lbs bought xs and fits great!

Gave these as a gift to my cousin. She loves them but they run a tad too big. Not that big of a deal to where you would need to size down.

For reference I'm an athletic size 6/8 (JCrew Gap etc) 5'6'" 148 Lbs. Ordered these in a Medium, and fit was great, but the length of the rise/zipper is short so they were tough to get on, once they were on totally comfortable. I liked that they were black/charcoal with a subtle pattern rather than solid black. I had ordered 4 pairs and another pair won out, but these were in second place. Seemed warm too.

Ordered the Astral color. The color was beautiful. Pants were a little large in the waist. Overall length was good. Would be a keeper if they fit.

I am a small according to the sizing chart and reviews, and I couldn't even pull these over my hips.

My wife says: My waist is 29" and we ordered a pair these pants in medium and they were way big! These pants are nicely made, and the adjustable waist offers a good amount of adjustment but not enough to make them work for me. We returned them and ordered another pair of Columbia pants in another style, this time size small. Those pants fit just right.

This pair of pants works great for me. It keeps me warm even at -20 degrees F, and I don't look as chubby as I worried before the purchase.

I love the shape of these; I think they are flattering for what snow pants must be- baggy. The seat pockets sit flat and the leg flares slightly at the bottom to easily fit over boots. The insulation is very warm with just a pair of long johns underneath: I wear them outdoors for the length of the workday in 20degree weather. They are windproof but so far I haven't gotten them excessively wet so I'll have to wait on a waterproof rating.. The waistband is adjustable on the inside so I can wear them over long underwear or jeans or utility chinos - variation is great for me. I wear a 27 in jeans and the Medium of this style is very comfortable. The ankles have a helpful lining that can go inside my boot while the outside of the pant goes over the boot, so no snow can get in - I love that! I ordered these in Bluebell, which is a very cheery periwinkle color for the gray days of winter.

Based on other reviews, even though I am usually a medium in pants, I decided to go with a large. I am 5'5" and 155#. When I tried them on, with the layers I'd use under, these pants were HUGE. I was absolutely swimming in them. I tried to use a belt, but they were simply too bulky. Otherwise, nice pants.

These pants are comfortable and easy to move around in. I don't typically write reviews but the customer service I received was amazing. I originally bought a pair that was too large and was going through the process of returning and purchasing a smaller size. One of the Backcountry account managers, JP, took the time to call me, thank me for my business, and sent me a free return label. And not only that, but the new pants were shipped to me in one day, no extra charge. It was truly the best customer service I've ever experienced.

This is a great pant, the fit was true to size, but it was bulkier than I planned and the color which was listed as purple dahlia was actually maroon, so I returned them.

Bought for my GF and she isn't too 'crazy outdoors' in the winter, but these work great for your. Runs true to size.

I bought these for my wife to use this winter while she's pregnant so she could still get outside with the rest of the family (i.e. not the typical use case). We had to get some suspenders to keep them up, but they've worked great and kept her warm.

I'm 5'6 and 155lbs- A little more curvy in the booty area.. My waist is about 29/30 (in jeans from the Buckle). I ordered a medium and it was a tight fit (definitely could not layer underneath). However, they did fit but were a little snug. I am re-shipping the mediums and ordering a large to see if that will be better. Customer service at Backcountry was wonderful! Thank you to the sweet representative who helped me with all of my questions and my return. I
