Instead of snacking on dried deer turds and pine needles, try eating a Clif Bar. It's moist, tasty, and packed full of nutrients like protein, fiber, potassium, and essential carbohydrates, so it'll fight off bonks when you're hiking, climbing, skiing, boating, working, or just about anything else. Maybe you won't get quite the trail cred you would snacking on poop and trees, but the tradeoff is worth it.

These are my go-to hiking snacks! All of the flavors are delicious and they give you the perfect amount of energy to keep going! My favorite seasonal one is the pumpkin pie flavor so I was happy to snag some before they are gone!

Here to say that the gingerbread bar is by far the best, and they're all good.

The best normal bar out there. I eat these things for lunch sometimes at work. Most flavors taste amazing, my go-to is the chocolate chip. They are hearty and fill you up! Grab a bunch and throw them in every bag you own.

It's a great snack to throw into any bag, with or without equipment piled on top. It is a bonus bar with caffeine, cause sometimes its great to have that boost. This is one of our favorite flavors.

This is my favorite Clif bar. Buying them in bulk is the only way to go if you go out a lot, and buying from BC is just as affordable as buying them at Costco or any other grocery store.

From a quick breakfast to a mid-ride energy boost, Clif Bars are a great snack for anywhere. They are a bit heavy if you plan on eating an entire bar during exercise, so it is good to down some liquids with it. Also, be careful of the sugar content in some flavors. Some are sweeter than others.

I eat these about an hour before my ride and they give great energy, and treat my stomach very well. On bigger rides I will eat one of these throughout the ride for more energy as well.

These are easily the best brand out there if you like good tasting bars while still staying semi healthy. Chocolate chip is my go-to. I have these on the trails, at work and wherever i need a quick bite!

These are my everyday snack. I love every favor Clif Bar has come out with but my all-time favorite is white chocolate macadamia nut. I could eat those all day, everyday!

My favorite feature of the Cliff bars is how good they taste in every condition. After skiing in below zero temps, my Cliff bar got a little hard but not frozen solid. Mountain biking in the summer they can get a little soft, but not too gooey it's failing apart while you eat it. I have never encountered such a versatile snack in all conditions. These babies pack 250 calories which is plenty for when you start to get low on energy. Cliff bars are so filling I find myself nibbling on them during rides or saving half for later. For flavors I have stuck with the standard chocolate chips flavor for years but recently decided to try branch out and try new flavors. I was pleasantly surprised with the walnut raisin. Tastes like the cookies my grandma used to make! Cliff bars are my favorite energy bars and I don't find myself switching anytime soon.
