I haven't yet been able to use this rash guard for anything more than some extra warmth in early spring cold pool water and sun protection but for that it worked great. I just needed a bit of warmth when I first got in the water for laps. And then some protection from the sun while I enjoyed sitting on the sun shelf in the pool. It worked great for both. I have the laguna stripe which is an orange and white stripe. The color is more vibrant in person than in the photo Backcountry has for purchasing. And it has drawstrings on the sides for shirring and making it look more girly.
