You don't need high-level security clearance to find out the secret to staying warm and dry on the slopes this winter, just put on the Burton Covert Insulated Jacket and the answer will become obvious. This jacket combines premium warmth and waterproofing with timeless style to keep you feeling as good as you look while you shred, whether you're slashing powder or lapping the park. Dryride fabric keeps heavy snow, howling winds, and soggy slush at bay, while the Living Lining enhances breathability for airy comfort. Mapped Thermolite insulation places more insulation in the core, where you need it most, and less in the arms for uninhibited mobility. If you get too hot on a sunny spring day, open up the zippered underarm vents for instant relief. And when the powder piles up, the removable powder skirt keeps snow from infiltrating the inside of your jacket.

Im reviewing the denim color specifically. Im glad I listened to reviews and got a large instead of xlarge as I normally would because they run a little big I believe.

Bought this as a gift, here's what he had to say- "Warm yet great ventilation. Will be perfect for snowboarding with lots of pockets. Black jacket looks great with gray Burton Covert snowpants. "

Really comfortable jacket. Lots of pockets for all your necessities. Wish the hoodie was a little bit bigger. But other than that everything else is great!

Great design with all the bells and whistles you could possibly want/need. From arm vents to a multitude of pockets inside and out so you will always have a convenient location to store stuff. All of the pockets on the outside are zippered or velcro. Mouth cover and side pockets have a soft felt-like material, which is a nice touch. Zipper quality has been great so far. The hood is a little small for my taste as I like to use headphones and even with my smaller cans the hood will barely fit over them. The sleeves are a bit long so as to not become untucked when wearing gloves, which is nice, but not necessarily convenient for everyday use. Overall the jacket is very high quality and a good purchase.

This jacket does run a bit small. It is packed with pockets and extras that will send you out on the mountain. I do like the simplicity of the style and it fits great. Super warm!

This is an awesome jacket! I have tried on at least 20 some odd big name jackets at the retail store. Finding nothing I loved-I then went through the entire menu of jackets not dominated by the 'big-brands.' Although super skeptical and not expecting much, I am mind blown by the quality, style, simplicity, and functionality of this product. The look is awesome! Got the orange thinking it would be obnoxious-silly how great the color is!. If I could match the color, I will paint some room in my house with this and a blue accent. Cuff size and adjustability amazing, zipper amazing, hand warmer pockets deep and comfortable, I can go on and on but won't. Too may features to mention. Only wish top access to hand warmers weren't fake. Still, not an issue to me and adds greats style accent. Price is ridiculously fair. Thank-you to Jeremiah and the awesome staff at the retail store for putting up with my trying so many other jackets!

This jacket has the adjustable you want and need. I think the jackets run a little big. I usually wear large jackets but in this jacket, a medium is better for me.
