I haven’t had a chance to wear it in the cold & wind, but the fabric is very dense & tightly woven but comfortable on your face. I’m confident it’s going to work well. Nice fabric, good design, excellent workmanship. It also has a slight bit of stretchy ness to it. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a Balaclava .

I finally decided to upgrade to an actual balaclava after going all season with just a tube neck gaiter and it was a fantastic idea. I love being able to push this down past my chin when I don't need my mouth covered. It's comfortable too and handles a face full of powder without freezing to my hair. My only complaint is that it smells a little weird brand new, not really a bad smell as it can be ignored, but it was weird enough that I noticed wearing it the first few times.

This gets the job done. It's lightweight and fitting. No room for messing balaclaves.

This balaclava is comfortable, warm and I love the feel of the material. It does not freeze like the other brands i've used. I can wear it comfortably with my helmet and the fit is perfect.

This is now an essential part of my freezing cold weather kit. There is no better cold weather balaclava on the market. You can tell it was designed for extreme temps, as it has kept my head and face warm through some of coldest tours of my life (I'm talking -20 degrees F at 5 in the morning cold). While it would not be my choice for a hot spring day, in the cold weather this cannot be beat. Classic Blackstrap style with ultimate functionality.

Love using it in the winter. Even more recently, I used it on a sunrise hike this fall and it kept my head and ears super warm. Well worth the buy for how warm and durable these masks are, considering I’ve worn the same one nearly every day riding last winter.

Went up to Brighton for the first time and never noticed my head get cold or damp. I would say this did it's job well. Also didn't scratch or pull on any face fuzz. Easy to pull down.

This balaclava has one of the best fits Ive tried and can easily be pulled over your face or under your chin without too much trouble at all. Warm material kept my brain nice and toasty.

This balaclava is a set up from the original BlackStrap printed ones. It's thicker and warmer and has wool blended in to it. I especially like how it can easily and quickly slip under or over the chin for breathability, and when under the chin, it doesn't feel like it's too tight or suffocating. Love this!

I've never owned a buff or mask that doesn't freeze up, until I acquired this little gem. The dual layers are great at wicking moisture and preventing freezing. The expedition weight is quite warm but not too bulky to work with a helmet. Great product overall!

Fits comfortably under my helmet, cant wait to use it this winter. Has an opening for headphones if you use them while ski/snowboarding which is nice.
