The Backcountry Wasatch Crest Hybrid Jacket works well as a layering piece during a backcountry tour, or as a stand-alone jacket on an autumn hike. It features full stretch for easy mobility no matter how you use it, with strategically placed insulation to keep you warm without overheating. A drawcord at the waist adjusts to seal out wind or snow, and the high neck offers extended coverage against the cold. Backcountry equipped the wrists with reflective bands for added visibility, and gave the jacket two zippered pockets to stash cold fingers or snacks for the trail ahead.

I wanted to love this light jacket but couldn’t even fit into the arms of the size medium. I’m 5’-7” and athletic build for reference. Small size fit my friend who is tiny and about 5’ tall. Very lightweight.

I’m in love with this jacket! It has a form flattering fit in one of my absolute favorite colors (mint). I like it so much I’ll probably get it in black too! I’m a CRNA in a trauma center and always need a light jacket outside the department. I’ve also worn it on a November hike in NC. It’s light enough to provide some warmth without me sweating incessantly. This definitely fits the bill for me. Would be a great layering piece for colder days- it’s soft and lightweight. The only thing that would make it more perfect is if the sleeves were not quite so long... short girl problems :)

This jacket has a cute and flattering fit. It's lightweight but perfect for wind protection and keeping some warmth in. Comfortable enough to chill in the house in. I am a 32DDD, and it's slightly tight in the chest but not bad enough to keep me from wearing it. Tried the Small previously, but it was far too big.

I love this jacket for many reasons, but one of the main reasons I love it is because it is SO versatile! This such a great piece for hiking, touring, Nordic skiing, light running, and I think the all black model looks stylish for all around town. I have mostly used this for hiking and cross country skiing. It's got decent wind resistance and the insulation keeps you warm where you need it. The material is durable and strong for active hiking through tough terrain. The four-way stretch is great for when you are using your arms with ski poles and bending down and maneuvering for transitions, etc. The water resistant material is great for skiing days where it's not snowing out but there is chances of you brushing up against snow, etc. And when the weather pics up the slim profile of this jacket and light insulation fits perfectly underneath a shell. This is definitely my favorite go-to jacket any time I am rushing out the door for a quick adventure!

I used this jacket in an XS for daily runs around our local lake and love it! The insulation on the chest and back keeps you warm, and the material is good for blocking wind and chill. Little reflective bits on the arms would also make it a good biking jacket. In a XS, the fit was tighter but still comfortable, I would probably go with a small if I were to use if for backcountry skiing so that it would move with me a bit more. It's also very breathable so it dumps extra heat, great for strenuous winter activities. Not only does it perform wonderfully, but it's very flattering as well! Highly recommended for the runners and backcountry skiers in your life.

I really like the fit of this jacket. It's partially insulated but still maintains a tailored look. This jacket has been great to use trail-running, hiking, and around town.

I love this jacket! It's breathable but thicker than a rain shell. It kept me warm mountain biking and just during every day wear. The fabric is sort of stretchy too, super comfortable. A really good piece for fall or spring activities

I absolutely love this jacket, it was a little bit snug in the chest. However other than that It is very lightweight but still keeps you warm. It's great to use on a crisp summer night or use for cool morning runs. This jacket is also very flattering to wear, I got all black and it looks very stylish while still being very durable. Overall I love this jacket its a perfect everyday jacket. I would highly recommend :)

I am 5'4" 115lb, find the size small fits a bit tight at the chest and the length maybe 1 inch too long. Also wish it has an internal pocket. Overall this is a great jacket, versatile and sturdy. I like the stylish bomber-style collar and reflective bands. The insulation is very nice, too. I was on the fence about the color to get, the beautiful mint ice looks great but I personally prefer a more low key look so went with the black one.

Great jacket and I have to say I look great wearing it. I love the color, (mint ice) and the padding on the chest and back, just gives that extra bit of warmth on a cool early morning run. I bought a small and it fits me perfectly, I could put a T-shirt underneath for added warmth if needed - I am 5' 3" and 117lbs.

Personal Measurements I Find Important: Shoulder Size: 19" from side of arm to side of arm Forearm Size: 11" General Sweat Level: High (I sweat a lot) General Heat Level: Low (I get cold very easily) Used Product for Hiking, Everyday Quick Summary: Stylish, good layer, right amount of stretch Review: I really like this jacket! I love the color and the fit. I found it's good and stretchy for full arm and shoulder movement, and the extra padding for warmth near the core was quite nice. As a person who runs cold I did find that this jacket needed a long sleeve under layer for chilly evenings. Love it's zip pockets. I am concerned about it's light color for rugged conditions but so far its been dirt resistant. I think this jacket runs small as I consider myself more of a medium, but found the large to fit my shoulders and arms better, especially with an under layer on.

My go-to jacket for throwing under my ski shell on the colder days or as stand-alone piece ski touring and running around town. This breathable, Four-way stretch jacket has easily become a staple piece in my day to day life. Not to mention, this had made spring skiing so much easier when trying to figure out what to wear. Not too hot and not too cold, serving as my dream transitional piece for all seasons this year! It has definitely earned its place here in the Wasatch.
