Theyâre comfy but I honestly had to check to see if they were inside out after one wash.

This would be a perfectly good sock if it were in fact a crew length. It is not. It is an ankle sock that will not work at all in hiking boots since it won't cover your skin up to the top of a standard hiking boot. It is not as described and I am returning mine.

These were my first pair of smart wool socks, and I absolutely love them. They dry quickly (even if you decide not to wear Gore-tex shoes to walk across a river). I haven't noticed any major/abnormal pilling even through heavy use. I would recommend air drying instead of putting them in the dryer. I've worn these for both work and hiking (up to 20mi day).

I wear these things to work multiple times a week (multiple times without washing. . Hey it's wool, right?) They are a great blend of wool and synthetic that is light, dry and warm when you want em to be and cool and wicking when it's hooot. My boot's don't have any heel stitching or abrasive surfaces and so far I have only noticed slight pilling, but that's my fault since I've been throwing them in the dryer (minimal heat) and I haven't noticed much if any shrinkage ;)

I agree these rock for all seasons. In the winter they keep your feet warm and come summer/warmer temps they breathe superbly. Can't beat em for the price.

Love these socks, the only thing better than the quality is the price! Good feel and cushion without seeming too thick. Also seem to be quite breathable on warmer days.

For the cost, they rock. Are there better socks, yes. If you want the best, look elsewhere. If you want merino mix for a good price that will last, look here.

These are my husbands favorite socks. He used to wear Smartwool but became annoyed with having to darn them after only wearing them a few times... and don't get me started on the price of SW. I stumbled upon the Stoic Merino socks when buying Christmas gifts for my brother-in-law. Since they came in a pack of 3 I kept a pair for my husband. He was instantly hooked. They last longer than most Smartwool socks and a fraction of the price. I would recommend most Stoic products to anyone. Don't let the price fool you.

I was instantly sold when I saw Stoic made merino wool-blended socks without the higher price tag of the competition. These are certainly comfortable enough for a myriad of outdoor activities. They're also pretty warm, so I'll be grabbing more before winter. Overall, I'm pleased with them and would recommend picking up a few packs to satisfy your sock needs.

I feel old when I think of it, but I've learnt to appreciate a good pair of socks. These ones are awesome, and for a great price. They feel comfortable and keep my feet at just the right temperature. Not too hot nor to too cold. The fabric feels breathable and the size fits pretty accurately.

I got these socks because I wanted some new socks with some more cushion but also didn't want to spend a lot. I really like these socks. It has been a nice upgrade from the Adidas socks I used before. I ordered the L/XL size and my feet are size 9-10 in most shoes and the socks are perfectly snug.
