Just because you dragged your feet on getting the limited-edition Skratch Labs Exercise Hydration Mix this winter doesn't mean that you need to miss out on the Mason Jar that it came in. In fact, Skratch Labs recommends that you store both your Exercise and Everyday mixes in this jar. After all, Skratch Labs uses real foods without any preservatives. So, keeping a tight seal on your mix is vital for both its effectiveness and your health.
The Skratch Labs Mason Jar is made from an Italian swing bale glass, and it holds around 1.5-pounds of any Skratch Labs mix. It features a secure clasp closure and is completely reusable. Velo rule #137: Use the Skratch Mason Jar for your Skratch You put Skatch powder in this jar not only because it's cool and the right thing to do but because it properly stores your powder with that airtight seal. Why mess with that bag anymore? Why?

We go through a lot of skratch in our house, especially during the summer cycling season. We use Exercise Hydration mix in our bottles, Anytime Hydration mix with dinner, and Recovery mix for ... you know ... post-ride recovery. Even with the long-handled scoops, I pretty quickly got tired of reaching into a small bag opening multiple times per day, and the Skratch Labs Mason Jars have solved the problem. It's a super clean solution to one of lifes very minor problems. Love it!

Not a necessity, but definitely rad to have a round, especially if you've got a constant supply of Skratch.

His has been a very cool addition to my kitchen that looks way better than a bunch of recovery mix buckets lying around. Excellent seal, and though It was a little smaller than I had envisioned it holds plenty of mix.

I think I am getting at least 10 more watts now that I have added the Skratch labs mason jar to my kit. I had some issues getting it into the bottle cage but made some modifications and now it fits fine. All jokes aside, I got this jar because when you buy bulk Skratch and reach into the bag for a scoop of recovery mix with your sweaty hand, well, it just isn't ideal. Jar solves the problem, plus it looks super classy when you open your cabinet and there are three Skratch jars lining a shelf (way better looking than bags). It even looks good if you have one of those fancy kitchens that would grace the cover of Kitchens Magazine, I don't think that is a real magazine but it could be. I just googled it and it's not a thing. Basically if you have shaved all the grams, own all the aero, and produce all of the watts, the next logical place to spend money is on these jars, because they are awesome, they look great, they have a quality seal and are easy to open, even one handed so you can zero out your food scale with the other hand because every second counts.

This is a great place to keep your skratch. Easy access and keeps it fresh longer (swamp cooler would kill the bags especially since i usually closed them poorly in a rush). Worth it.

This jar makes it super easy to access your skratch! Much more convenient than the closure on the bag when you're consistently filling bottles up- also less of the powder puff when sealing the bag tight. Also, I love mixing bags of skratch so the jar makes that super easy- Like lemons/limes and pineapple! Durability is awesome- this feel off my fridge and survived a crash on my bouncy linoleum floor :) Get this if you're a heavy skratch user!

Sure any jar would work... But this one looks better, saves you a trip to another store, and keeps your Skratch dry & fresh. Dig this product along with everything else that I have purchased from Skratch Labs

I used to just deal with those zip closures on top of product bags (protein, pre-workout, hydration mix, etc.) and never was really sure that they closed all of the way. I'm sure that by the end of the bag the product just wasn't that fresh. Now I have a row of these little jars in my cupboard marked for what's in each one. Everything stays really fresh and organized, just the way I like it! The glass jars are of good/solid thickness/quality, the metal latch is thick enough not to bend over time and the rubber gasket doesn't seem to be cheap/flimsy.

It's a mason jar, so there's really not much more to it. I bought it as a gift for my mother who loves Skratch because I thought it looked cool and that she might get a kick out of it. For what it's worth though, it's a pretty good quality jar. The rubber gasket is of good quality and the glass is nice and thick. Also, it's not like the logo is just printed on the glass, it's actually embossed for lack of a better term into the glass, so it's not going to be rubbing off or anything.

Bought the Skratch jar and a similar style screw top mason jar, just to compare. Yes I live in high humidity. The Skratch jar is so superior. I have little lumpy things in the other jar, they do dissolve but I will have a Skratch jar for each flavor!!

Yes, it's just a mason jar. You could buy any same sized mason jar, at say Target or Walmart. But it's cool and it works. It is very effective at keeping moisture/humidity out of your bag of hydration mix. And the jar makes it easier to scoop out your mix. This is good. I like it.

This is just like any other resealable jar of this style. Nothing special about it except the S on front...

Perfect container for a pound or two of Skratch mix. When you get about halfway through a bag of mix, it starts to get a bit difficult to scoop it out. The jar solves this problem, stores better than the bag, and seals up tight and dry each time keeping your precious powder fresh longer.

Straight up mason jar, decent quality, with the Skratch 'S' on the front. I have no complaints with them, but you can use standard mason jar as well to the same effect.

I picked up one of these recently and like it. It seals very well keeping moisture out and preserving the mix. Good quality construction as well.
