The Prana Men's Stretch Zion Straight Pant is as versatile as your favorite pair of blue jeans, but (probably) twice as stretchy. A straight fit gives these pants a modern, versatile aesthetic, while the supple four-way stretch material lets you hike, climb, and sight-see in comfort. To prevent you from getting too toasty while adventuring on warmer days, the pants feature a ventilated, gusseted crotch, and the UPF rating keeps your legs protected from the strong sun. So, stuff your passport and a snack into one of the secure pockets and head out of the door to catch a plane to some far-off land. Don't panic when you get there and realize you've forgotten your belt, though, because the low-profile adjustable waist will keep your pants up while you sample the local sights.

These are great and stretchy trousers. I really like the material and the straight-leg fit. I used them on a hike and they are also surprisingly warm during the winter season.

First - I love these pants. I rotate through 3 different pairs for when I head into the woods for extended periods. They have stood the test of time, with plenty of heavy use bush whacking to parts mostly unknown - all without missing a beat. Those pants are comfy, fit well, and have held up unbelievably well. They still look good enough to wear to the office on casual days, despite the beatings they've taken from the Cohutta Wilderness to the Bighorn mountains. I love these pants. So, when Backcountry had them on sale, I jumped on the chance to put a 4th pair in the rotation, this time in a different color. The pants arrived extremely quickly, and I was stoked to try them on today. Unfortunately, it seems like maybe they were mislabeled or everyone else's legs have gotten really skinny. At 6'3" and 180 LBs, I'm thinking there's a sizing problem. Furthermore, the new pants are actually a size LARGER than my favorite pair - I just bought a slightly larger size to make room for the holidays, so to speak. Anyway, the pants are too short (despite being the same claimed length as the others), the waist fits just fine, but the upper thighs fit like a tourniquet. Seriously bummed, but these are going back. I'll buy another pair, but not without trying them on first.

I would compare these Stretch Zion Straights to Kuhl Radikls for fit through the legs. They fit nicely if you're slender or a little bit muscular in the thighs. I definitely like the fit better than the regular Stretch Zions; it's less baggy. I think the "rise" in these is "longer" than that of the Kuhl Radikls, making a little more room for the boys, if you know what I mean. These are definitely going to be my "stock up" pants style going forward. They fit me just right. Highly recommend 2U.

These puppies dry fast and they are comfy. I've never had a pair of pants like them. My only minor complaint with them is that I have thick legs and they run a little tight in the thigh.

These pants are nice at first, then they keep stretching and stretching. I only ever air dried them. They got pretty baggy after a while, then I stopped wearing them. I had the shorts too - same thing but worse because I used them more in an active sense. I give them a couple years that you'll toss them. So much for sustainable - I like to keep clothes around longer than that. Too bad -

Backcountry is awesome! You guys hooked me up and I am grateful! Had an issue with a size and they changed the price and had it shipped super duper fast!’ Thank you. I’ve bought all types of brands for pants I wanted to wear to the office or out, then hit the trail or biking etc and Prana was the only one that came through for size, fit and comfortability. I now own 3 of the sizes of the straight Zion and couldn’t be more happier! Thanks

First thing I noticed on opening the pants was that the color was not as pictured online. Got the Sepia, came as a much darker brown than what was shown. Not bad at all, just not what I ordered. Second major gripe was sizing options. Unfortunately I am an odd size/half size in everything I wear. My waist fits best by far in a 29. Got a 28 so I wouldn't be swimming in a 30, expecting the waist to flex. Unlike the rest of the pants which have great flex to them, the waist doesn't budge. Stuck with a tighter fit than I'd like, but a 30 would be falling off of me. For $90, these issues really shouldn't be present. Love everything else about the pants though.

Super comfortable. Run a little small on my thighs. I ordered a size large on the waist and tightened the belt and they fit perfect

I'm 6', 175 and the 32x34 fit perfect. In a pinch I could get by with 32 inseam, but I like the extra length when sitting. Where do I start....the stretch Zion's straights are the most comfortable pants I own, and I have other hiking pants in most of the major brands. They stretch just the right amount, they breathe, great built in belt, and I love the leg pocket with a two zippered option...by the way I find that I like and use the side zipper more than the top because it seems easier to get to especially when sitting down. Like others have said they may be too tight for those with thicker thighs and I wondered myself (being 60 years old) if they were the right look, but my wife thought they looked great on me. I absolutely love these pants and would recommend them to anyone looking for a climbing, hiking, biking, or just an everyday comfortable pant to wear.

I absolutely love these pants. My wife jokingly said I found the men’s version of yoga pants. Frankly, she is not wrong. I will use them well beyond the trails!

If someone gave less than a 5, they're crazy and I say user error. These are my go to pants for any activity. I own 4 of these (straight fit) and 2 of the original fit I've had for years. I'm a beefy dude and these fit like a glove. Also, I've never seen these not on sale, so why complain about the price tag? Anyway, they're great pants.

First....Backcountry remains at the top of their game....this review a reflection on the product, not BC’s service! So, I have two pairs of these from back when they sized the waist S, M, L and XL versus an actual waist measurement in inches. They are a bit baggy....but they make for an outstanding pair of hiking, backpacking, climbing trousers! So I was jazzed when they came out with this straight (slimmer) version as a good looking travel pair of pants. And with apologies to George Carlin? Steven Wright? Why is a single pant a “pair”....why don’t we say “pant” versus pants? Anyway....I give these a 3 star review.....because either Prana uses a measurement of a foot shy an inch or so....the inseam barely made 30.5 to 31 inches...making them a “high water version”....or the quality control department is “lacking”. Regardless, I’ll wait for Covid19 to subside....and go somewhere to try on a pair in person. Please Prana....at $90.00 a whack? Get your head back into the sunshine!

I have two other pairs. They are awesome hiking, climbing, scrambling pants. Holding up really well. Super comfortable. I didn’t notice that this was the straight model. Doesn’t fit me as well. It ends up being a bit tight around the lower thigh/knee. YMMV

I've been wearing stretch zion pants for over 10 years. I can't believe they haven't ripped after all this time. They've faded in color but the fabric is still intact by some miracle. They made this straight model that fits a lot closer to the legs which I think looks better. Everything else seems the same to me. To me that's just an improvement to the pants. Here's to another 10 years.

These pants felt great the minute I put them on. They are tougher than they feel. They feel so smooth and stretchy. Size 30 is what I wear.

This is my 3rd pants. It stretches really good, and it is more durable than it looks. If you want a slim style which you can take it out on a street, get this straight version. The normal version might feel a bit baggy depending on your preference.

To all of the ladies out there who wish their Halles had a higher waist, a better integrated belt, and actual pockets: it's possible to size these down and find a decent fit. I'm 5'6" and an athletic 140 lbs. I wear these in a 30x32 with the waistbelt cinched down a bit. The 28 fit my waist but was too tight through my hips and thighs.

Bought my first pair in August 2018 and they quickly became my favorite pants. Pick up the Winter stretch zion pant in October 2018. These two pair fit like they were made for me. In June 2019 I ordered two more pairs of the "Stretch Zion Pant" and found they had increased the leg measurement. These pants fit the same, but the legs looked overly baggy. I returned them, and was informed there was also a "Stretch Zion Straight Pant". I order two pairs of these and found that the fit was the same as the originals except the legs where now more narrow. So these "straight pants" are tight through the knees and narrow at the hem. The narrow hem makes it so when I sit down and then stand up they bunch up on top of the tongue of my shoe (I hate this). To sum up, it appears Prana took the original, and sized the legs up to be the new Regular Fit, and sized the legs down to make the Straight Fit. These pants no longer fit me, and I'm pretty bummed! Hence the two stars
