From lift-accessed pow days to long backcountry missions, POC's Auric Cut BC Spin Helmet will accompany you on all your pursuits. The Auric Cut BC Spin features POC's SPIN protection system, with internal shearing pads designed to reduce impact during an oblique fall. Shearing pads rotate inside the helmet to move relative to the head during a crash.
The ABS shell is lightweight yet super durable, bonded to an EPP liner that offers multi-impact protection. Adjustable vents open and close to cool you off on the ascent, or close tight when the snow starts falling. The size adjustment system makes it easy to fit this helmet snug around your head, and the removable clip on the back keeps your goggles secure.

Helmet fits great except none of the goggles I own work with the helmet. I have 7 different Oakley models including airbrakes with the round top of the frame. Still don’t fit well. Helmet will probably work well if you want to look through POC’s terrible quality lenses. On top of that I got the communication in the helmet... connection is horrible and this is 2020.... ever heard of Bluetooth. Save yourself money. Buy the POC fornix and use ear buds.

Helmet arrives with tags off of the chin straps! Hmmm. Fit feels good. Not sure why POC didnât put a full finishing on this helmet like the BC Obex! Is it because of the multi-impact foam and the Obex has Aramid panel reinforcements for added protection? I may keep this for resort snowboarding/skiing and the Obex BC AVIP for backcountry fun...decisions, decisions!

Used this for my first time skiing. so had the chance to test its durability repeatedly--haha. I took a few spills, but never had to test it in a crash worth replacing, so really it just provided lightweight peace of mind for a Jerry on the slopes.

Got this helmet for my girlfriend, who despises helmets, and its a winner! She has primarily used it for resort snowboarding, and it fits really well. Super breathable with the adjustable vent options, and plenty warm on the cold days with cozy ear flaps.

Perfect helmet if you are looking for the safest on the down, and still really light for touring. I have put in some huge days in the backcountry using this helmet, and have loved every second. I highly recommend it to any hard charger that still wants to move quickly. The best helmet I have every used.

I bought this helmet for a friend, he spent a week in the mountains and enjoyed the weight of the helmet and goggles fit nice under the brim. However, he wished he had gotten one size bigger to accommodate wearing a normal size hat or facemask underneath. Great color.

I love the fit so much on this helmet!. not to mention how stylish it looks. The ventilation on it is a unique and proper working design. The MIPS technology is also really important to someone like me who has taken a few dings to the head. Helmets are cool folks!

An awesome and simple helmet. Good fit for my large dome, tons of features like adjustable vents, and a streamlined look.

To be perfectly honest, I was a little hesitant going with one of the Spin helmets over the standard MIPS tech. But, after checking out the spin tech and taking the helmet itself out a few times, I really like it! The back dial is really easy to use to adjust the fit, and the venting system is amazing- very easy to open and close. I wear my goggles under my helmet so I haven't really dealt with the goggle strap, but it does seem like it would come out pretty easily if you use it and you're just not paying attention... Having never really dealt with it myself, the clip has stayed in place. As far as sizing goes, I find it to be true to their sizing charts- I've always been a M/L across the board with their ski and bike helmets. Both my husband and I have one of these- he has the Orb Clarity goggles and I have the Lobe Clarity goggles, and both fit well with this helmet.

This helmet has a bunch of pros and not many cons! The dial on the back of the helmet really helped get the perfect fit whether I wore a beanie/hood underneath or not. The shape of the goggle also worked very well with most styles of goggles, which is huge when you wear the big spherical lenses. The only real issue I've noted is the discomfort from the chin strap, although no helmet I've ever worn has had a chin strap that didn't bug me a little bit. Otherwise, the helmet looks good, it's not too heavy, and it breathes well.

POC produces some of the best safety equipment available and the Auric is no exception. The shell is a little larger than others as well as the total head coverage. It comes low on the back and front of the head making me feel confident enough to take chances knowing my brain is in the best cradle available. I paired this with POCs Orb Clarity googles and the combo proved to not be a good fit for my head. I guess I have a stubby forehead as the helmet was a bit to deep causing pressure on my googles and nose. This could possibly be resolved with smaller goggles but I LOVE the Orbs and something had to give. The adjustable ventilation system works well and the ear cups adjust vertically. I did notice the retaining clip that holds the goggle bungee will fall out if you're not paying attention when removing/installing your goggles so don't take it apart in the wild or you'll be digging in the snow for a 1" hook. I like how this hook is fixed on other helmet brands. My head measures 22.5" and I wore the M/L.

Used this helmet over the weekend to ski. I didn't get off the groomers- so i didn't do anything crazy. But the helmet was a perfect fit and kept my head warm. Dope set up. First time wearing POC, and it won't be the last.
