The second you put on the Osprey Women's Sirrus 24 Backpack and feel its mesh AirSpeed back panel successfully transfer the load to your legs, you get overwhelmingly excited, if not giddy for the big hike ahead. The AirSpeed suspension system combines the rigidity of aluminum stays with a tensioned mesh back panel for effective load transfer and cross ventilation, while the Women-specific Spacer Mesh hip-belt and shoulder straps ensure your load rests where it should for max efficiency and pain-free hiking.

Its ErgoPull waistbelt closure makes cinching down the belt easy, and hipbelt pockets hold your camera, shades, or quick snacks so you keep spirits high. And if rain starts to fall on your adventure, deploy the integrated rain cover to keep your gear dry as a bone. A Stow-on-the-Go feature on the left side lets you holster your trekking poles or ice axe for hands-free walking, and the compression straps let you adjust the pack's volume to fit different load sizes.

I can’t say enough good things about this pack. If you’re looking for something lightweight that has room for everything you need, then get this pack!! This pack was PERFECT for my day hikes: 1) Lightweight: The biggest positive for this backpack is the lightweight feel. I just couldn’t believe how comfortable this was. At one point I had 3 full bottles of water and it felt light as a feather! I never felt uncomfortable or heavy at any point during wear. 2) Plenty of room: This pack is a good size for day hikes. I was able to pack liquids, clothing layers, plenty of food/snacks, maps, sunscreen, bug spray, sanitizer, chapstick, Kleenex, first aid, etc. all just fine, and everything still felt light. I particularly liked the hip pockets for easy access. I wish my phone would have fit better in the hip pockets (pockets too small) but that’s okay. 3) Feminine fit: I was very happy to find a backpack made for ladies. I am fairly petite and have a short torso. I was glad to find a backpack that didn’t feel huge on me, or one that I didn’t have to make so much smaller there were hanging adjustment cords everywhere. Conclusion: If you’re looking for a lightweight backpack with room for a full day of hiking, GET THIS PACK!!

Received the pack within a few days of ordering. The color is beautiful. There is great storage space. I hike a LOT. Summer hikes can be incredibly hot. I had hoped this pack would allow for better air flow against my back. I am 5’3 and 130lbs. My waist is fairly slender. My friend and I each tried to get the pack to sit at my hips. We cannot get the straps adjusted properly. This pack did not allow different sizing options. As much as I love Back County this is one item that I should have bought in a Brick and Mortar store so that I received proper fitment. Other than that it seems to be incredibly durable and lightweight.

This is an amazing day pack! I have simpler, lighter day packs but I find myself reaching for this one more than any others. It distributes weight well and doesn't seem to feel heavy even after loading it up with water, snacks, dog bowls and extra layers. It's very comfortable to wear and easy to adjust as needed. The integrated rain cover is very easy to quickly pull out and stuff back. This size is perfect for all day pursuits. I have taken it hiking, ice climbing, you name it I've dragged this pack along for the ride!

Kablow!! This is a rockstar daypack that does it all, with comfort and functionality. I took this pack along with me on a 5-day road trip through Utah's national parks and it did not disappoint. The Sirrus 24 packs a punch with lots of great features and a super comfy fit. I love the ingenious design of the hydration compartment. Instead of your hydration bladder taking up precious space inside the pack, it conveniently slides between the ventilation panel and back panel so you can maximize your storage. The pockets are one of my favorite parts too! Two great hip belt pockets, an awesome mini pocket on top (for snacks or sunnies or both!) and a great front zip for easy stashing-- each feature came in handy on the trail! Let's talk about breathability and comfort too. Conditions were HOT in Zion, but this pack kept me cool and comfy all day long. And Osprey has done it again with its unparalleled adjustment features that create a perfect custom fit for every body. This pack rocked my socks off and I strongly recommend it for anyone in need of a spacious, versatile pack for their day adventures-- both big and small.

I purchased this gorgeous little pack for a hiking trip in Alberta/BC. We set out on treks averaging 10 - 12+ miles per day. (We did not camp.) Very adjustable, comfortable, and light. Good amount of storage for the ever changing mountain weather. Osprey has never let me down! Highly reccomend for travel + day hikes. Perfect!!

I originally got this pack a few years ago for a summer job, and it held up so well after putting it through the wringer every day for 3 months straight of ranch work! It has the best organization I've seen in a day pack, and not to mention the support this thing has to offer is unreal! It almost feels like a frame pack on your back because of the structure of it. The waistband was so comfortable to wear for long periods of time and very easy to adjust if I needed to put more layers on. One of the selling points for me was actually the rain cover that comes integrated with this pack because it stows away in its own pocket on the bottom. I've even taken this on mountaineering trips and the tool loops were the perfect addition to help keep my hands free! I really love the sunglasses pocket on the top as well for scratch-free stowing of one's phone or glasses to avoid any unwanted scratches by the end of the trip. I would highly recommend this pack to anyone who needs a supportive day pack with excellent features! with the right amount of volume and organization without going overboard.

I gave this as a gift. I love Osprey packs and have been using the Osprey Ozone for many years as a day pack and travel pack. She really likes this pack. The airspeed back panel is very supportive and comfortable. The mesh material on the back panel and shoulder straps are great for wicking away moisture and sweat. The bag is water resistant for light rain, and even has a built in rain cover for a downpour. It has a great mesh pocket on the inside that zips to store your phone, keys, wallet and other essentials. There are also some clutch pockets on the hip belt. I would recommend this pack for sure! It is a great size at 24L for day hikes and traveling.

My wife and I hiked a few canyons in Zion National Park and this was a great pack to have. It fit a harness, wet suit, dry bag and clothes along with lunch. I would definitely recommend this pack.

LOVE this pack! I am a huge fan of women's specific packs; I have a shorter torso and men's packs are often too long. This size is perfect for day hiking and can fit my binoculars, lunch, water bottle, first aid kit, and more. The hip belts are solid and supportive, and I can't live without hip pockets. My phone barely fits in the hip pocket which is a bummer, but I love using them for chapstick, treats, and trash that I pick up while hiking. I was looking for a pack that could securely fit my water bottles on the outside- but a 32 oz classic Nalgene bottle is a bit tight and feels sketchy on the side. A smaller or skinnier bottle would fit better. Other than that, I can tell this is a quality pack and I'll be using it for years to come.

This backpack is an incredible option if you're on the lookout for a great day pack. The design of it distributes the weight very well so it doesn't feel so heavy. I also love the breathable, mesh backpanel since I was wearing it down in the desert and it was hot! The backpanel allowed for plenty of airflow so my back didn't get sweaty which is always a plus. It also has great storage. Plenty of well-placed pockets for everything you could need. We had a good amount of snacks, water, a water filter, dog treats, and a couple of layers and we still had room in there. The side water bottle pockets are stretchy and big enough to hold Nalgenes which is great. The hip belt pockets are also so convenient for snacks so you can eat as your hiking! Or anything else you want easy access to. Overall, very happy with this pack and made my day hikes even more enjoyable than before!

Last year I bought my Mom a jacket the same color. I was excited to see this backpack and bought it right away for my Mom. She opened it up Christmas morning and was stoked. Great day pack size. She will enjoy little the trails and matching. Enjoy mom!

This pack seems well-made, great pockets, just enough padding to be comfortable but not an overkill level. Has perfect hip pockets and water bottle holder which are requirements for any pack of mine (phone holder, snack holder, and easy drink access).

I bought this pack after my previous pack was stolen out of my car at a trailhead. I love the many pockets, adjustable straps, padded hip belt, floating frame, and built-in space for a water system. Although I purchased this as pack for day hikes, I probably should have gotten the next size up so that there would be more storage for clothing and extra food during winter hikes. Perfect for summer day hikes, but not quite large enough for winter. Beautiful color and great pack!

By far the best backpack I have ever owned. No matter how much weight I have packed into this bag it always feels weightless on my back. Plenty of room for everything I need for a day hike~ lots of assorted sized pockets & compartments, but nothing ever gets lost at the bottom; supports keep the pack off you back & distributes the weight evenly. I hike often & not one hike has gone by where someone does not ask me about this backpack & where I got it~ some have even taken a picture of it! If you are on the fence~ just get it,, It will not disappoint!

This item was as big as you need for the camino de santiago. The build in rain fly came in super useful for utilizing the space. Personally my thoughts were that we didn't bring enough stuff, but after the first week we dropped about half of the weight and this pack was only half full!. Buen Camino!!

I live near Osprey world headquarters, but I swear the local pride does not color my assessment of this pack. I have owned/used a handful of Ospreys and this one sits at the top of the pack. It is the perfect size for day hikes. I can fit my camel bak, a few layers, a hat, some snacks, and other small items, all with room to spare! A couple of nalgenes fit snugly in the mesh side pockets, too. I find the hip belt pockets are actually functional - I can fit my regular-sized iPhone, keys, and chapstick comfortably into a single pocket and it is easy enough to access. The pack is incredibly adjustable to fit your frame; it even has straps just above the shoulders that you can tighten down without taking the pack off; this helps snug things up when your load starts to lighten throughout the day. As a bonus, it comes with a nice rain cover in its own compartment that can be accessed quickly and easily. The suspension system is AMAZING. I swear it makes this pack feel next to weightless. The next time I invest in a larger pack (60L+), I am definitely going to seek out this suspension. I do not have it on my 46L pack which is still very comfortable, but the suspension on this 24L might have ruined me for regular packs. A++ for ergonomic fit, nice storage, and for making a women's pack in non-"girly" or super light (re: filth-attracting) colors - my historical and singular beef with Osprey packs. I got the black. The pictures show the details as a sort of peachy color but it is def pretty orange, which I like.

This is the most comfortable backpack I've ever put on. I bought it for my mother-in-law for Christmas, and I am very tempted to buy one for myself. My sister-in-law who has back problems tried it on and ordered one for herself right away. I am 4'11' and backpacks often hang right on my butt instead of putting the weight on my hips. I was surprised that this one size fit me so well! I myself own an OSPREY Women’s Kyte 36 XS/S backpack, and it fits me not as great as this one- size backpack.

I used this pack as a carry on, it's the perfect size. The pack is light weight and has plenty pockets. I especially liked the compression straps! It's perfect for hikes and great for traveling.

I use this bag mainly for winter hikes because I tend to carry more things. I have the tendency to bang my bag into rocks when I hike and there's no rips (my other bags have already shown sign of ware and tear. It really is water proof, from inside and out. I have used this in rain and everything inside was kept dry. I had a leak from my juice bottle that was already in my bag. It didn't steep through the layers and out my bag, it just collected into a puddle in my bag. Which I prefer because it was easier to clean. If it had steep through the layers, I would have a much harder time getting rid of the smell and stickiness. It's really comfortable and sits on my hips. I really like the two pockets (1 on each side) on hip strap. Great for storing phone and whatever else you need easy access to.
